She’s really an extraordinarily talented, multi-faceted actress and musician!!! I’m watching every nail-biting episode of Castaway Diva. Maybe the heavy physical violence is too much for people to watch…I do recognize all of the different elements that make this KDrama so compelling and extraordinary!! One of my favorite parts is hearing Eun Bin’s beautiful voice. Her singing is so wonderful! And her songs are glorious. Thanks for sharing this insightful, behind-the -scenes video! Park Eun Bin hits another home run. Loved Cast Away Diva and Ms Park is sensational! Her singing was a revelation and captivating. In Some of her "on stage" scenes she could be mistaken for a K pop singing star. Really entertaining with a serious dark side. Definitely one of the top dramas of the year.

Attorney Woo was such a huge smash that most things will never be as popular as it. I think to compare the two is to compare a fish to a peregrine. Both are amazing at what they do, but they’re different. You can’t fairly judge both creatures on their ability to fly.
I loved it. Castaway Diva was incredibly well written. The soundtrack was beautiful, the cast was so enjoyable to watch and was very well directed. Eun Bin was perfect as usual and impressed me with her singing voice.
I really enjoyed Castaway Diva. I’ve got two episodes left to watch and I’ll be sad when it’s over. Park Eun-bin is by far my favourite Korean actor after seeing her in Attorney Woo and King’s Affection. She works so hard on the roles she plays and you’ve got to admire that so much. I like the way that in Castaway Diva you can see little bits of Woo Young Woo leaking through sometimes when she looks awkward or moves in a certain way.
This is my current fav show, and I'm rewatching the episodes while waiting for new ones to be released. I love the heartfelt lyrics of the songs and the relationships with the different characters.
Woo is extraordinary! Castaway was also very, very good; but, if the question to be answered is only why aren’t the ratings of equal stature, Woo is going to a Season 2, Castaway was short at 12 episodes, shorter than it needed to be, and left subplots unresolved. On Netflix, I gave it 2 thumbs up! Normally, if I like a show it only gets 1 thumbs up. The point? The acting ability of this Female Lead is extraordinary! I didn’t care for “Ghost Detective” much, but I watched it because her acting is that phenomenal! This show, Castaway Diva, must have been plagued by costs, contract demands or available time between projects - some such thing. But it was still a very, very enjoyable, heartwarming story, and to get this behind-the-scenes understanding of the lead actress efforts to prepare for the role only makes me appreciate her efforts that much more! Well done.
This was a great series. These actors can act! I felt every emotion they put out as if it really happened. I was really crying… laughing and felt genuine joy. Great show❤

I liked it a lot! It's my weekend treat to myself for a job well done for the week. And I've recommended it to my friends and to my daughter who's an Animation artist based in Tokyo. I love the Castaway Diva. The story line, and the casts that delivered their character well. Its pretty all in one K drama. It made Me laugh, cry, fall in love and learn the values of life.
She's a great actress. It doesn't surprise me in the slightest that the director decided he needed her after seeing her character notes, since I think she has an excellent understanding of characters and brings a lot of herself into them. I'm also not surprised it didn't quite hit the heights of EA Woo, though. Castaway Diva was most powerful through the end of the second episode with her introductory singing scene (not sure if the first episode's "Dream Us" was actually being sung by EPB or by LeeRe, who played the young Mok-ha. The characters on the whole were good but not great, the plot was watchable but not gripping, and even though the singing remained outstanding it felt like it had the most meaning that first time. I still look forward to whatever Eun Bin does next.
Park is one of the most talented, if not THE most talented actor! She can do it all, and should be absolutely proud of what she does and continues to do! Her fans certainly are! ❤
The more K Dramas I watch on Netflix the more talented actors I discover. Eun Bin is at the top of course, but there are many others upcoming, like the enchanting Cho Yi Hyun, another of my favourites. K Dramas always cheer me up, even when they are dark in tone sometimes. I just can't get enough of them and K dramas dominate my Netflix viewing.
Btw I think it will attract more audience after it has aired in its entirety. I too am waiting for the whole thing to air before starting it cause I know I’ll watch it in one or 2 sittings tops 😂
I've been watching this K-drama these days and I'm only in episode 5, I think. There were some scenes which I really find very emotional. But after watching a few episodes, I can say this is an interesting drama, considering Eun Bin is the main or lead character in the story. She truly fascinates me and I consider her to be one of the best Korean drama actresses out there, taking her versatility into consideration.
Wonderful drama, with a fabulous actress (I loved the lm's, too, though!). I got so tickled by her dialect, and I don't even speak Korean (well, except for the hundreds of words I've picked up over the years. But it definitely sounded way different than the Seoul accent)! Oh - and I loved Diva way more than Woo, since I binged the whole thing in two days where I had to take breaks with the other.
It’s a captivating story (although the plot is a little rough at times), but any shortcomings are more than compensated for by the sheer joy of watching Park Eun-bin perform. She could make Barney the Dinosaur awesome.

He had a heart attack and passed away after we had watched 4 episodes. I had to finish watching it alone. Society has become too judgmental of actors, actresses and dramas. The factors which cause us to love, like, or dislike a drama are vast and depend upon our own lives and emotions. Comparing two completely different dramas because the same actress is in both is ridiculous. Park Eun Bin has the gift to make any character she plays come alive and she made Castaway Diva an enjoyable drama to watch.
I completely enjoyed Castaway Diva . I’m a HUGE FAN of Eun Bin 🥰. As an actress her performances are all top notched in every drama she’s been in. Attorney Woo of course is going to gain higher ratings. It was a drama focused on an autistic character. It gained interest on the topic alone, but Eun Bin played that role EXCEPTIONALLY 🎉 and was an eye opener for many viewers on autism and the differences within autistic people ❤️🥰❤️
I have watched 3 series with this actress. She really is a great actress. All the were great! We need more of these shows in America. I like that they didn't use too much foul language. There are so many people that don't talk crudely but it's hard to find decent TV or movies. Really like her versatility!
I suspected she was speaking some sort of dialect, but wasn't sure. The video stated the character developed the dialect because she was alone on the island for 15 years. Wouldn't it be more accurate to say that the character retained during that 15 years alone on the island the original dialect from the island she grew up on? Others from that same island eventually moved to the big city, and or got exposed (TV) to 15 years of standard dialect (Seoul) that her character would have missed.
with so many shows on tv in korea isn't it quite normal that you can't always reach the top spot? having this on netflix provides the possibility to watch it to a far larger audience than just tv. l loved it. that artificial outrage by 'netizens' are just keyboard warriors who probably wouldn't care at all if nobody talks about it.

I have watched 3 series with this actress. She really is a great actress. All the were great! We need more of these shows in America. I like that they didn't use too much foul language. There are so many people that don't talk crudely but it's hard to find decent TV or movies. Really like her versatility!

I watch the drama just to find out what Park Eunbin will sing next.
I suspected she was speaking some sort of dialect, but wasn't sure. The video stated the character developed the dialect because she was alone on the island for 15 years. Wouldn't it be more accurate to say that the character retained during that 15 years alone on the island the original dialect from the island she grew up on? Others from that same island eventually moved to the big city, and or got exposed (TV) to 15 years of standard dialect (Seoul) that her character would have missed.
She did well but had that character of extraordinary attorney woo 😊but the ost all so good

with so many shows on tv in korea isn't it quite normal that you can't always reach the top spot? having this on netflix provides the possibility to watch it to a far larger audience than just tv. l loved it. that artificial outrage by 'netizens' are just keyboard warriors who probably wouldn't care at all if nobody talks about it.
Castaway divas with fantastic K-drama all the political stuff aside even is an amazing actress with fantastic talents I really enjoyed her performance in this drama even more so than attorney rue and even better than a Kings affection

I thought it was amazing because i have lived it and know what it is like for real. but i wasn't on an island i lived in the mountains, and i knew the abuse, Seeing it happen to the two of them. i could fully understand them both . it broke my heart . I thought the show was very very good.
BTW anyone can find out the name (in English) of skincare products in the show? Those green bottles.

Yeah, this drama is a bit different from “Attorney Woo” & will not attract people from all walks of life! Most probably it will appeal to a different set of people,who like music & singing! Overall, it’s a great drama
