i honestly love to have a nice crosshair because the quality of ironsights often depend on the lighting conditions. Sometimes you cant even see the dot of the revolver when aiming from a dark place to another dark background.
I know the heavy is focused on short range but I would really like a long range weapon. Either make the ks-23 have a headshot bonus and much longer/no drop off damage, or add a barret .50 cal without a scope that fires slightly slower than the ks-23. Let me be master chief with a sniper rifle bursting through walls and dropping from the sky with rpg.
I hope in s4 they add some fun new guns, like a dmr or turn the FCAR into a dmr, and then some dual wield weapon for either heavy or light (preferably heavy).
@@square6293 I would like it to be AK for close to mid, famas the all rounder, and fcar to be for range like a dmr. Not that they cant do the other roles theyre just less optimized. Dual wield mjolnir lighting hammers for heavy would be dope. Light could get kung fu with regular melee being replaced with a kick.
I love the multiple assets that the KS-23 can offer, like being able to destroy stuff, shoot and hide, movement,... Playing it with the winch claw makes it even more efficient, just shoot and punch, shoot and punch,... I personally don't have that much of a hard time fighting against a SA1216 user in pro scrims or tournaments😁
Agreed, especially how they make the recoil patterns for the heavy lmgs really difficult to learn. Fcar as well. It just means only good players or heavy only users can effectively use them.
@@zsideswapper6718 yes but its counteractive because these weapons they are changing the recoil for are only good for high up in the competitive scene. When has Lewis gun ever been opressive in casual game modes? Never because heavy is bad in these gamemodes.
@Val-Yob to me the m60 feels good to fire but its peashooter and the lewis gun feels like an actual roulette wheel since the recoil is too hard to control sometimes and it does low damage
For casual modes, quick cash or TA I don’t have issues. I’ll maybe have some on power shift depending if they are all snipers, but then I ignore point and go hunting
I feel like your videos would be a lot more useful if you showed clips of each weapon and specialization as you're talking about them, demonstrating the strats and synergies you're listing rather than just playing clips of you killing people with a flamethrower. You talk about great potential utility with the goo gun but don't give any examples. Supporting evidence would give your opinions and statments a lot more weight, and increase the production quality of the channel in general.
I still use Lewis gun with charge and slam because charge and slam just destroys mesh shield players doing up to 300 damage and if you get winched you can just run away but they need to fix the recoil pattern on the Lewis gun
@@Four-Beat-DJ yeah I'm a heavy player mate, sometimes they are not gonna use the winchclaw and wait till u charge, it's a 50:50 chance... I'd like to see actual approximate ttks for spear, sledge, and flamethrower. Every spreadsheet I've seen ignores quick melee combos and burn damage. What's the actual TTK look like in practice for these weapons?
The issue is when the melee is registered can actually vary depending on distance, aim etc etc, netcode plays a big part in it, giving a ttk is so inconsistent so nobody opts to actually give one, it's best to know combos and what to use and when to use it, which adds to the complication. Judging the melee weapons off of a ttk is really irrelevant and it's best that stat isnt even explained because it would be misinterpreted so much. User experience is very important here
Season 1 SA12 was the most terrifying thing I've ever seen, I remember softaimsuppress just getting 20 kills in 1 minute with it, granted it was harder to use properly back then because of rpm but nowadays I do feel like the mag size even with the animation is a little too much.
Best for scrims and high elo doesn't necessarily mean best for casuals and solo queue, so this is probably misleading for most. SA12 is honestly niche if you don't have a medium boosting you around everywhere, mesh will never get utilized by your teammates outside of stealing cashouts, and charge encourages a kind of trade-y playstyle that you wont get away with without defib mediums baby sitting you. (your teammates will be staring at the respawn screen 90% of the time in solo queue) M60 (lewis if you can aim it) and KS-23 are the best "I can't rely on my team" weapons for Heavy, and Winch is by far the best specialization. Goo Gun actually surprisingly good for solo queue too though.
yeah exactly, thats why i was saying sa1216 best for low elo but for lower elo stuff like winch and sledge goes hard, but ultimately use what you think is best! I'm just giving the stats and giving my opinion but I leave the stats and facts about the weapons there for you to decide what is best for you!. I personally don't enjoy using SA1216 at all but in scrims n stuff i force myself to, in wt i sometimes enjoy the ks-23 its really solid there. if im solo queue i prefer mesh and sa12, the standard meta build but ultimately you gotta do whats right for you!
I think they need to buff weapons more, it really seems like this game is really close to the point where specialising in a weapon/loadout is more important than using the most meta weapon (except TA, that game mode is just dominated by meta for some reason)
Not saying it's the best heavy wep, but spear is slept on bigtime. The secondary attack spin can be animation cancelled at any time, and the first two hits come out super quickly, giving you the same dmg as a sledge secondary but in a 360° arc with longer reach to boot. Pairing it with charge & slam for mobility, destruction and extra damage has seen me top score countless games and frankly, I'm a pretty trash player. Until they patch the animation cancel I reckon it beats out the sledge for best heavy melee.
Sledgehammer easily destroys spear at every situation. And the spear secondary attack is so inconsistent it doesn't do damage most of the time while it should do. And the secondary attack makes you a sitting duck everyone can easily kill you and run away from it and the animation cancel make you stuck for 1 second Wich is huge disadvantage compared to sledgehammer secondary attack Wich is way faster and has destruction ability.
@FirstLevelBoss bringing up the emote wheel cancels the animation. You can cancel at any time in the animation but if you do so before the final swing you'll be unable to attack for about a second. You can use specializations in this state though, including charge&slam. Or you can circumvent the problem by canceling during the first frame(s) of the 3rd swing animation
i just dropped a 30 with a flame td . the lobby wasnt too good though . maybe there arent sweats in wt bc its not taken seriously . still love the finals tho n hope a ranked gamemode comes back and new metas come out

All those mines are gas? Flamethrower. Riot shield user? Flamethrower. Only counter ive met to flamethrower are snipers/bows/experienced spear users other than that its pretty much a stomp most matches.
Am I the only one that really doesn't get the appeal of the SA1216? Maybe it's a skill issue but I can never seem to have good results with this gun. It feels impossible to out-DPS literally anything.
