@@VanillaMidgetSSBM If you watch prototype E3 videos of CTR with the black & white early design item pictures, you’ll see Cortex face on the blimp instead of Pinstripe. They did keep the N “Neo” at the end of the blimp in the final.

He & SilverKeyblade were doing a No Input Run of Crash Boom Bang to test out Ben’s new PC and since Stage 5 was taking so long, he decided to boot up Crash Team Racing to see if he could beat it with Pura before the stage ended.
On Hot Air Skyway, when attempting this corner skip, he somehow hit an invisible wall and fell out of bounds. Ben’s reaction was that he had never seen that happen before, and he described to Silver exactly what had happened.
What the hell is that Cortex Castle one.

I saw the Cortex clip in the Online CTR Discord, it's so insane! I was just wondering if more shortcuts could be achieved by abusing player collisions, it's actually unbelievable that you can actually pull it off. Mad skills.
Why do you only take the jump on the first lap and not on the third one (when the CPU cooperates and reaches the area where you can jump on them)? Is it just a timing issue?

Yes, that was intentional - he held onto boost item for the purpose of learning how to hit the skip 👍
