We really just have one goal - to make your food life better. Ok that, and be entertained at the same time. And have you learn a few things along the way. So let’s make it 3 goals then.
If you only want the steps to make something, like those vids shot from above with no people, no conversation no nuthin - then we are absolutely not for you. But if you wanna a little fun while you learn, then this is the place.
Cooking doesn’t have to be hard, it just has to be delicious.

THANK YOU ❗️ - Розваги
As much as a fan I am of my steaks being cooked rare/med-rare, I have to say that piece of Wagu was definitely raw to the point where I'm surprised Max didn't work some editing magic to make it look like it was cooked more! :D
i like my steaks mid rare, that was way too rare for me too lol
It was too rare. I like my steak medium rare but the high fat content of Wagyu beef is best when cooked to about medium so that the temperature gets high enough to begin to render all the internal fat.
It was rare to the point of gross
@@dac3563 That's actually the opposite of true... Wagyu fat has a lower melting point, so the fat renders earlier than regular steak.
@@rywill1074 What's the opposite of true? PC BS
Raise your hand if you've been watching SAM for a long time🤚

I just wanted to say to Max and Chance that the tempo of this video was spot on. I know that's your editing work so just wanted to say I noticed and very well done.
Glad max finally learned to shut up
I've been home sick with covid and watching your videos for 2 weeks. I'm going to try some recipes when I get my taste back.
Thanks for making quarantine bearable!
Got two STCG knives almost two years ago.
Still very happy with them, because they are great knives, and it supports the show.
Thanks guys for all the great recipes and techniques
That Traeger Flatrock looks amazing. I have a feeling I'd be cooking on it nearly every day!
Also...chili crisp mayo? Yes please *runs to the fridge to mix some up*
That flat top looks amazing. The food you made in this video wins though! Some of the best you've done!
This makes me feel so happy and sad at the same time. Having a cooktop of that caliber is all but a dream. I'm used to cooking on my rusted out char-grill I've had for 10 years, hahaha.
LOVE THE STEAK!! But you got my attention with the puff pastry delight! I can think of all kinds of fillings for that meal! Great job, waiting for the new cookbook!!👍👍👍
Nice job on showing the versatility of the flat top. Thank you!
Love how Sam knows he under cooked that steak and plays it off. That steak was definitely blue.
most of that precious wagyu fat wasn't rendered...
Have seen people eat wagyu raw straight like that. Without even cooking it
@@moose7266 but it is thinly sliced.
Looks wonderful!!! Thanks for sharing it with us!!
More backyard fun, let's go!!!
Love it. Could see so many ways I could use this.
Awesome video! You do a phenomenal job on these
Looks awesome, can’t wait to cook on it!
Being from a town named Flatrock in Canada this video title surprised me, great piece of cooking equipment from Traeger . Keep up the great videos Sam, Max and Chance!
Only applies on Mars
Everything you made looks amazingly awesome and now my mouth is watering.
We really enjoy your commentary and humor, Sam!!.. keep up the great work!!
Awesome outdoor cooktop. Thanks for sharing.
That breakfast is one of the most amazing that I have seen! OMG, wagyu steak sandwich, you guys are the bomb!!!
Breakfast looks amazing 😊
this looks freaking awesome!
Been a subscriber since 500k. Crazy how much the channel has grown, but not hard to see why. You guys are great. Never made a bad Sam recipe. Never not enjoyed a Maxy or Chancy edited VID. You guys all do a great job, and just feel authentic like we hanging out in the backyard or kitch. Like for real dialogue that goes on at this house with my kids! 🤣 Best cooking channel on the Interwebs. Not sure how I feel about the fact that you're turning me into a Traeger fanboy. And I never bought anything Traeger before. 😅Been on the fence about one of their smokers for a long time. Hell I may buy this contraption first! Keep it up gents, cheers! 👍❤
Congrats! how many people did you get to sub to Sam?!?
@@ryansegovia8515 Almost everyone in my office and all my family and friends.
@@joshuashelton7359 dang nice! So like over 100 then?
@@ryansegovia8515 Well, I never really put a number on it. Lol Probably closer to 70-80 that I know of and talk to about what they've made and what not over the years.
@@joshuashelton7359 dang, I had 132 😭
Working with great equipment was an understatement
You not only have everything what seems like anyway but the best of everything
I’d love just one of those grills you have
Great video, and good job editing Max
I don’t know how this works, but I can taste every bite through your expression and pauses. When you take a bite, it shows in your response how much you enjoy life. Keep it going Sam and the boys.
Wow. The Traeger Flatrock is a griddle lover's dream. The food looked amazing.

So cool, what a great griddle!
I just finished eating supper. Watching this made me want more; but of this - lots more. :) Awesome, fantastic flat iron - just WOW!!!
Man that looks amazing!
Sam, we would love this!! We have the traegar smoker and love it!! We love your videos and have been watching from Canada for years!😊
I have watched many UA-cam cooking videos and this is my number one channel. Not just for the cooking but for the equipment you use and great video production. Keep up the excellent work. You need a new neighbour? I'll move from Canada in a heart beat!
ALL THAT FOOD LOOKED AMAZING!
Every time I watch any of your videos my family and I always enjoy watching everything look’s always amazing! That cook top looks top of the line just like what you cook! 🤘👍
Keeping coming up with crazy and delicious items!I have made 4 recipes and they have been delicious!!
It all looks delicious. Drooling....
Loved the video! I NEED a grill like this!!! TY for posting another EPIC vid!
Looks delicious 😊 great video
Nice work right there, yum!
Always look forward to your videos
Ive been looking at the Traeger Flatrock - it looks awesome, for sure on my wishlist this summer!
Only applies on Mars
Love the breakfast and dinner.. I think lunch would be too expensive for me, but it looks good! 😎
I don’t know what I’m more excited to see.
The fact that you know how much gas is left.
That it’s easy to clean
Or the fact that it has enough oomph to properly produce a crust on meat.
NICE!
lol the shocker in the background of the ad. i love it
Great video Sam! I've been looking for a great flat top for awhile now. They're so convenient for not worrying about food falling between the grates.
That puff pastry strudel looked amazing!
SO making that puff pastry!!!! Different filling but still.... making it!!
That thing looks UNREAL nice
The cover at 11:55 is part of the smash burger kit. So I'm pretty sure the hole was designed to pour some in some water to steam the cheese on your burger patties. But it appears it works like a charm to carmelize onions.
I'm making this. Thanks for the recipe
5:05 - No, make no apology, this is EXACTLY the sentiment and the feeling of someone who really loves what they do. We should ALL aspire to be this intense about something so elegant!
Wow! I thing is my Dream Machine especially with all those accessories! 😮 you guys are really going to bless someone with thing. Thanks for the awesome demonstration! You all rock!
SpaceX ticket for U
Love you guys!
I like it alot! Great job fellows 😋
The Traeger looks great...I've got a 4 burner Camp Chef I love. It's so nice to cook everything at once. I recently grilled
about 20 birria tacos for a cookout. We use an Hibachi when we want something flame cooked.
Was not expecting a braided chicken pizza, will have to try that
That bread looks fantastic
Nvm not bread but still fantastic
Love the thought of a gas flat top. For use when camping with the family! Go Traeger!
GO Mars
Looked like an awesome product from Traeger, I’d love to try it out sometime!
Only applies on Mars
I got a small Blackstone on a christmas clearance. When we go camping I am always told dont forget it. Griddles are awesome backyard appliances
Sam, I started watching you on PBS ages ago, and this has to be one of your best! However, I also like Max’s suggestion of how to get others to subscribe: I guess I’ll have to visit my daughter at her job during lunch hour and maybe my old job (retired now) and sign everyone up.
It’s like the worlds largest carbon steel pan.
That dome with the injection hole is genius!
Love the flat top! Use it frequently!
Maaaaan I would love to have that flat top. It's awesome. Thanks for the great food ideas all these years!
Love it!!
That steak was Pittsburg rare and looked perfect. Awesome work!
Man! I love this flat top, much more functional for my apartment balcony, gonna get one!!!
oh my YUM!! Love your food
I love that this channel just became my virtual cook book
When the flavor closes your eyes, you know it's good.
I asked my two young boys what do you want to be when you grew up, and one said, "SAM THE COOKING GUY," and the other a firefighter. This channel is better than public school!!!!
Love the channel, new traeger looks dope.
That is a sweet looking griddle!
That thing is amazing!
Your food looks so delicioussssss
Been subscribed, your vids got my girl into cooking! Need that flat top! You're the man and seem like a cool dude to throw a beer back with. Make America Cook Again!
Damn if only I had friends and family. Nice episode Mr Sam. Really love your channel
Love this!
Should've included a clip from the bbq central show and Greg and Sam's "conversation" on flat tops last month 😅
One of the things I like about this channel is that Sam makes simple things with flavor that anyone can make. And I’ve made several of them. But I’m never cooking a $50+ wagyu for a fricken sandwich.
$50? That steak was more like $150!
LETSSS GOOOOOO
Also, sorry for always bugging you at the store.
Keep up the great content!!
Wow this looks like an amazing grill.
Wow all those meals look fantastic. I would love to have this Traeger. I could see myself cooking so much more outside than not. Even in the Carolina heat. I mean meal prepping would be spot on. I could cook so much on that thing. Love sharing your recipes with my family.
I would love to have one of these. Holy cow!
Baking too? I’m convinced.
Love it!
Love this. Would also love to see your take on some Portuguese/Fall River MA stuff like stuffies
Aloha braddah. That griddle is absolutely Phenomenal.
I’d love this thing Sam, been watching forever and it’ll be perfect in my brand new place. We move in 2 months.
Wow!! that is amazing!! I'd make 3 meals a day on that also!
This would be a perfect addition to my patio setup. Would be out there more than my kitchen with the the flatrock
West Coast Griddle all day! Very nice 👏🤙 really great advertising. Holds up to cooking in independent zones
Been following for a few years now since seeing u cook the turkey everyway around thanksgiving time. I wanna say 2020. Rn we cook on a little charcoal grill every summer & we’ve always wanted a flat top to cook more all year around (NY can be harsh)
Just awesome!
That grill is awesome wish I knew how to do the sub thing.
Drooling again,
Thank you Sam. I just recently came across your channel and I am now a huge fan. One of the best cooking shows on UA-cam hands down. The comedy, the skills, the fu#%s. Don’t change a thing. I almost forgot. The editing is bang on as well. Nice!
awesome!
Ive been looking at flat tops to join the Weber Grill and Traeger Smoker. I think the best thing about the Flat Rock is probably the most random - The grease trap hole is in the front! Blackstone and other popular models, it is in the back and that creates a non efficient situation the way all my stuff is set up. Kudos on the design!
Wow. That flatrock looks amazing. You cooked delicious food. I like the puff pastry pizza idea ❤ Somebody is gonna be happy with that giveaway.
