Hitting marshma)lows , hitting a loaf of bread and someone sitting their butt in mud . I fully appreciate these references. Really makes an entertaining as well as educational video. Thank you! Keep up the great work!
I haven't seen all your videos but in my opinion this one is the best. Ive been wanting to learn free hand percussion and this helped me alot. The last two points i posted were started with your technics. Than you
Thanks a lot bro. A lot of useful information, been waiting for a video like this , great. How long and at what heat? That stuff is working super fantastic.
I have only been at this for a month but i seem to get the best thinning flakes when i pull back a little on the strike. Seems like skinning that copper back away from the edge while striking grabs better and helps peel the flake.
Strange cortex. Generally, it’s chalky and will never detach as a flake. My own experience is to get rid of that edge cortex as early as possible because I have never seen anything like the raw rock you started with. I would have used Indirect right off the bat so there was access to the good stuff.
Great video Brad. Now I can thin the hornstone I got from you.😂
