How to troubleshoot pairing sony zv-1 and grip (gp-vpt2bt) vlogging (MAKE SURE IT'S NOT LOCKED)

Who likes to read the instructions manual ? Much quicker to watch a vid :D
Put in batteries (plus sign up)
MAKE SURE GRIP IS UNLOCKED (little locked thingy must be set to 'up')
Go to Menu Network 2/2
Switch on Bluetooth AND Bluetooth Rmt control
Press grip 'Photo' and 'T' for 7 seconds
voila !!

This was really helpful. However, one additional thing you may need to be aware of is this: on changing my battery I followed all these instructions and I didn't get the screen at 2:56 (it just wouldn't connect, despite multiple turn ons and turn offs. However, if this happens to you, just go to the 'Bluetooth Settings', above the 'Bluetooth Rmt Ctrl' settings in the same menu, turn off.....turn on....and you'll get this screen......then press and hold the 'Photo' and 'T' button on your handset, as above, and you'll connect.
