@@ednawong6131 I’m not sure honestly. I was blessed to inherit my late boss’s jewelry business and I’m not sure here she got them. She frequently used fire mountain gems and Lima beads if that helps any 😁👍
I love this ring and grateful you took the time to share!!! I love gold filled! The reason it was leaving the black/dark residue on your hands is the wire just it needed a light polishing with a polishing cloth. Same would have happed if it was silver filled….just like when you have to dust at your house occasionally……love, love your design! 🤗 you are fun to listen to and you have such a wonderful personality!! Thank again 👍🏼
Yes! Thank you! Love it when I unknowingly make my fingers the polishing cloth… 🙄but now in know. I go through the copper and silver so fast that I’ve never really had the problem. Makes sense since it’s been sitting around for a while! So glad you had fun, and I so appreciate you watching and commenting! 💚✨🧡
Thanks for the tutorial! I have a rectangular piece of kyanite that I have been struggling with to make a ring--this was exactly the technique I needed! 😍
You are so welcome!! I wish there was some way for friends to post on my community page. Maybe one day UA-cam will add that feature! You could share on my Facebook page, at least I think you can 🤷♀️😂😂 anyway, I’m glad the tutorial will help in some way. Happy creating! 💚✨🧡
@@caMpBeIIA oh yeah! I’m so excited for you!! Hope all goes well. I’m here if you have any questions! I feel myself coming out of my shell more and more with each video. 🤪😂
I am always looking to make "his" and "hers" matching rings. I like the shape of the shell ring for an androgynous male/female ring! I made my boyfriend and myself rectangular, flat, black onyx line rings. You are a master instructor and artist!
I’ve watched a lot of people make jewelry on UA-cam, and came across one of your tutorials for the first time. Great video! Thank you for making it. I plan to watch your other tutorials. In the tutorial you mentioned you put your jewelry in a Tumblr. Curious why you do that? Because I own a good Tumblr. Do you use steel shot, pellets, nothing ? Do maybe have a tutorials on rock tumbling? This tutorial was wonderful. The directions were very easy to understand, it was easy to see what you were working on and what you were doing. Thank you again!!
Make jewelry pieces SHINE EASY!✨ #jewelry #handmadejewelry #asmr #asmrsounds ✨ ua-cam.com/users/shortsHAkO0vKT2v0?feature=share I use the tumbler because I feel like it easily gets a jump start on polishing… especially for chain etc. goodness, all those nooks and crannies. I use a stainless steel shot that has different shapes. 👍 Your feedback on my video and delivery is so valuable and appreciated. Thank you so much! 😊 🧡✨💚
I think the older you get, the longer you need to celebrate. At 61, I just about celebrate my birthday all month. We know more people and they can't all meet you on your birthday.
You are so welcome, Nancy! My biggest obstacle was trying to figure out how to film the wrapping part. I hope you could see what I was doing. Not great light so the phone struggles to define what I’m recording. If you have any other requests, just let me know and I’ll do my best! 😊🧡✨💚
Oh my goodness!!! I was having such a great time rocking with your video tutorial and then you said your Mom’s Birthday is the 5th!!!!! Well so is Mine ❤😂🎉🤣!!!!! So of course I had to stop and let You know in the Comments 😂 Sooooooo, to be continued . . . 😊
Okay! Loved your ring tutorial, I kept meaning to ask if you’d show us your ring up close and do a tutorial! 🤣 I have never had Gold fill do that!!! Maybe it was older stock? My Sterling Silver does that because of tarnish. Thank You for your easygoing personality and being comfortable in front of the camera!!! You are doing great, keep up the good work!!! Keep smiling cause it comes through in your tutorials ❤😊💕💜🥳🥳🥳
@@DebraGerberding the wire was older. Remember how I’ve mentioned that I inherited a lot of materials? Well, the wire was a part of that - gold-filled anyway. You might be on to something about it being old. It’s not junk, I know. She, my old boss, only bought good stuff. It’s probably just me 😂😂
@@DebraGerberding oh and thanks for all the sweet encouragement! I have a bit of lead when it comes to doing the videos. I also do radio so that has helped A TON with being comfortable doing videos. 😊👍
New to your channel. Just subscribed. I have watched 9872348 jewelry making videos. (It seems like), and I have to say this is the best ring video I have watched. From verbal explanation to demo with your wire and ring mandrel. You are top notch. You explain things so well and show it while explaining. Thanks so much. I really appreciate your technique. Your daughter will love it.
Wow, simply wow! That is tremendous feedback. Blessed my socks off! And you’re right - she did love it and never takes it off! I’m so thrilled to have you along! 🧡✨💚
Some people's body chemistry cause their skin to blacken or develop a rash when they wear certain metals. Things that affect this include your skin pH, how much you sweat, what lotions you are using, what you eat, and what medicine you are taking. You can try applying a coating like nail polish to the inside of your rings but that wont help us wire workers (giggle).
Great information! Thank you! Yes, I have noticed since I’ve been making my own body butter that it loves to make my fingers black. Hence why they are like that in every video almost. Haha!!!🤣 Thanks for commenting! 🤗💚✨🧡
