    What a joyous painting! I love the bright, clear colors.     This was a great painting 3 or more times! I'm hoping I can one day paint this way and be brave enough to keep painting over what could be a finished piece many times. Or know to just keep going for that matter! Thanks for your videos and sharing your craft 😍🌈❤️

    Love your energy and your creativity!! I’ve watched many hours of your UA-cam’s and have enjoyed them, however, as an artist and an interior designer, it would be easier to focus on your art if you covered your shelves or put up temporary screens behind your easel to eliminate the distractions.

    The green tool you use in the palm of your hand, is that a scraper or a silicone catalyst? You use it so well for blending, i was curious if it was stiff or flexible.

      You can find a squeegee similar to this at: www.jacksonart.com. The place where I bougjht my scrapers has changed their name and I don't remember what it is. Tools used in cold wax

    Thanks Karen, I learn so much from watching you. One question though - when you apply a straight edge to an irregular edge, remove it, and a straight line appears - I can't figure out what you do to accomplish that because I can't see what is in your right hand.

    do you allow each color to dry before blending the next color or do you just start and keep going until you get the final result (which is absolutely beautiful)? Also, do you water down your colors at all or just add water to the canvas as you go? thank you!

      Thanks for visiting, Laney. Yes, each layer dries before i do the next. I work wet into wet so most of the water is done on the canvas.

      @@karenhalepaintings Oh. That isn’t what I meant. Sorry if I’m unclear. There are apps in the App Store that you can use to upload your own painting to make it look like it is in a living room, a parlor, a bathroom or some other room. For example there is an app called ArtRooms. I just find that one very expensive. But it looks as if someone has placed your painting in one of those apps to present it at the end of your videos. Maybe somebody else is doing your videos and media for you? If so I would ask them. Sorry if I’m confusing. I’m not looking for photos online as inspiration. I’m just looking for the app to upload my own artwork to make it look as if it’s in a particular setting. ☺️

      @@ciz4cookies I got you. No one else does it for me. I didn't explain myself well, I guess. I insert my images into a photo like a living room. I use photo shop elements to do that. I've looked at the apps and find them expensive too because they are subscriptions, at least the ones I've looked at are. The ones I've seen have to be done on the phone and I prefer to use my desktop. I generally do a one time buy of $50 and can get 8 or so images of rooms for that which don't have a time limit as to use.

      When you look at a photo stock company like big stock put something like "living room walls" in the search area. or gallery walls, dining room walls, etc.

      @@karenhalepaintings Oh I see! So you use the stock photo as your backdrop, crop a picture of your original painting and transpose it onto the stock photo? Just to be clear. Makes perfect sense

    When you are doing the stencil circles it doesn't look like a brush. What do you use?
