    There is something about the way you explain things that makes things make sense. So glad I found this channel, no other has impacted my playing as much as GuitarMastery.

    I am so happy I found your site.
    When I played lead decades ago, I was stuck in the pentatonic mode.
    THANK YOU!!!

    This was EXACTLY the type of instruction I was looking for. Thank you so much! I was at that begginer phase where the pentatonic scalea were becoming boring just practicing over and over. I found myself picking up my guitar less and less over time, but this has given me new inspiration.

    Might be the most useful lesson out there. Integrating a speed riff into the minor pentatonic scale? Yes please.

    Thank you very much from Indonesia. It is an amazing lesson where actually we play Em pentatonic scale on 12 frets and combine the first shape and the second shape and combine them with hammer-on and pull-off. Gracias Amigo. Cheers from Indonesia.

    Great concept. I'd just add a wah pedal, massive gain, and a plate reverb... instant rock pentatonic frenzy. You do play. And teach great.

    I'm glad you admitted it LOL. Because it's just not enough to know the shapes. You are throwing in sweep picking which speeds it up so much faster. So for the person trying to learn these, make sure you learn sweep picking technique right along with it if you don't already have it

    • @evanduquette
      @evanduquette 3 роки тому

      You're probably just not hitting them hard enough. If you can do them cleanly enough to hear them unplugged, the pickups will catch them. Maybe just spend some time working on really *pulling* the string to get a nice loud sound.
