There is something about the way you explain things that makes things make sense. So glad I found this channel, no other has impacted my playing as much as GuitarMastery.
This was EXACTLY the type of instruction I was looking for. Thank you so much! I was at that begginer phase where the pentatonic scalea were becoming boring just practicing over and over. I found myself picking up my guitar less and less over time, but this has given me new inspiration.
Thank you very much from Indonesia. It is an amazing lesson where actually we play Em pentatonic scale on 12 frets and combine the first shape and the second shape and combine them with hammer-on and pull-off. Gracias Amigo. Cheers from Indonesia.
Wow!! It has been sooo long since UA-cam suggested a Klaus video to me. I can't believe how much I missed his amazing teaching / playing. Great Lesson!
Watching this video around midnight with my guitar upstairs and my wife asleep. This is a great lesson. I will have to watch it again tomorow morning and practice it. I have the urge to do it now but there could be trouble if I do.
Can’t wait to try this. Need a fresh approach to my pentatonic scale playing and this might be just what I’m looking for. Great lesson. I rarely subscribe to any channel. But I’m on board with yours!
Awesome lesson! This takes all mystery out of scales for beginners, as well as offers some intermediate techniques. Great vid! If I had seen this when I started, I'd be years ahead of where I'm at now! Saved to my playlist, for sure!
I have been doing the same pattern but in a 3-1-3 arpeggio shape as you had showed it... Have been practicing it from past 6 months trying to follow every detail of your instructions... Thanks 😊
I'm glad you admitted it LOL. Because it's just not enough to know the shapes. You are throwing in sweep picking which speeds it up so much faster. So for the person trying to learn these, make sure you learn sweep picking technique right along with it if you don't already have it
Me ha gustado mucho lo bien explicado que das el tutorial ,aquí tienes un seguidor y nuevo alumno, muy buena técnica y ya mismo la pongo en practica jugando la improvisación con backin track, un saludo¡¡¡¡
You're probably just not hitting them hard enough. If you can do them cleanly enough to hear them unplugged, the pickups will catch them. Maybe just spend some time working on really *pulling* the string to get a nice loud sound.
Im gonna try this tonight claus. Ive been watching your videos for about a year ish. I'll give this a 3 week shot and check back in on a video in the future to let you know if I notice or feel more speed from this.

I am so happy I found your site.
When I played lead decades ago, I was stuck in the pentatonic mode.
THANK YOU!!!

Yes. I was expecting to find such lesson that can set me free.
Same here
Might be the most useful lesson out there. Integrating a speed riff into the minor pentatonic scale? Yes please.
This is the first video i've seen from Guitarmastery, what an intro, superb, will defo be trying this out this evening !
Great! Thanks a lot 😊
This was a really fun lesson. It was pretty relaxing. I'm hoping it will help me learn sweep picking.
Thanks a ton.A blessing in disguise indeed. I downloaded your free teaching on alternate picking yesterday and working on it.

your lessons and approaches are so good. thank you!
Great concept. I'd just add a wah pedal, massive gain, and a plate reverb... instant rock pentatonic frenzy. You do play. And teach great.

It legitimately works. It made 5-7 fret spans easier to navigate. And ive kept using it since. Great tool for me
Example being that this exercise is now a legato drill for me
