In fantasy land, waiting for the kids to get off the teacups!
Nice! Hope you're having an awesome time!
Thanks for the tips guys. Will be park-hopping for a day in two weeks, Thursday the 28th. Last Tier 0 day so hoping crows are a bit lower, but I didn't know about OBB so didn't realize DCA will close early and cause a surge in Disneyland over the evening. I have Genie+ so should be okay but had to switch my starting park to DCA so we can get everything done in time. And great tip about the GOTG after dark! We will hop back over in the evening for that!
Glad you found some useful info in this! Have an awesome trip!
Hey rtd!! Love the video, I didn't think of doing rope drop for haunted mansion that's a good idea!! When I go next year I'll definitely do that. I can't wait to try the darth by chocolate ❤ and pumpkin everything!!
What I wanted to say though is I won the Luke and Vader coin in the last live stream but I have yet to receive it. I emailed you if you guys can get back to me 😅 thank you!
Hey Cecelia, we never received an email from you. Could you please try it again? Sorry for the delay! I've got your medallion ready to send! rtdadventures@gmail.com
I’m being sent to LA for work for a couple weeks in mid-Oct, and I’m going to work in a first visit to DL and DCA over the weekend, (lifelong WDW person here lol)… Trying to decide how to maximize my time, and I guess I should mention I don’t do thrills/heights, so already know Genie+ won’t help me that much. My question: Since there is an Oogie Boogie Bash at DCA that Sunday, is it likely that (like MK is when there’s an evening ticketed event) the crowds will be relatively light during the day?
(I’m basically trying to decide between two full days at DL Park, or Sat at DL and half-Sun at DCA, which I’d like to see, but has little for me in terms of rides).
Parks may be w bit lighter earlier in the day, it's still early in the season so I wouldn't think crowds will be too bad. Then again, DL is smaller than WDW so it may feel busy compared to what you're used to.
Also, I'd highly recommend a half day in DCA if you've never been, I really enjoy just hanging out and talking in the sights on Pixar Pier. Plus, you should check out the Lamplight Lounge if you're able to get in.
Hope you have a great trip! Enjoy your time!
