- I'm honestly not sure what to say. Unfathomably lucky, played generally above average (definitely some mistakes, though). Could have been the godlike 3-run AJE, but a Giant Spider walked into some spears. I think I'm done with this category.

Started playing Spelunky1 a couple months ago, got speedlunky, then watched your lunky2 discovery VODs, been waiting for a while to watch this run and what a treat damn :D

I started watching not understanding at all how such a run works and having never seen so much of the game. The way you reacted to the spider early on is the part that clued me into how it works. Such an interesting twist of fate. Almost like it was scripted. Like the insignificant character early on that gives you unusual trouble that turns out to be the true secret final boss. And is sort of a joke. Simply amazing skills. I was in awe the whole time. That's some very fine tuned and specialized neural circuitry.

I wonder if theres a half set seed category for this, where you do one run and then you unlock seeded runs, doing a seeded run to get the rest of the journal entries
You could have possibly saved a little time by telefragging Tiamat in the first run, but fair play that was a brilliant Speedrun to watch.

He needed low enough hp to die from one bomb in order to save the jet pack through the ankh
If you survive the bomb, your jetpack will explode and that will kill you, and you’ll respawn without the jetpack. If the bomb kills you in one hit, you’ll die before the jetpack explodes and you’ll respawn with the jetpack intact.
Needed to get to 10 go or less to keep his jetpack after death by bomb.

How did you know where the Alien Mothership entrance would be?
it's on the same side as the hole that comes out of the wall, so it's simply a matter of quickly guessing where the entrance is
@@awesomeanthonyd123i think its actually just skimming the void and checking for when you hit the entrance or your spring boots activate

48:00 why does it say Ana Spelunky? Shouldn't it say Liz?
Normally you have to unlock liz by going to the jungle, so in AJE you wouldn't start with her unlocked. Since hec wants to play with liz regardless, he modded Ana to have the sprites of Liz

we chose to ban this since it introduces hardware / console differences. frankly this run can use the breaks anyway

I warned Twiggle but no reaction. On mossranking nobody seems to have noticed that his low percent Jungle/Temple run is incomplete and therefore invalid.
I have above 200 hours in this game. It's fucking amazing how i am shit in this game and barely passed normal ending while u are God of this game
