That was great, thanks for posting the match. Easy to sit back in my chair and react, but to play the match and put yourself out there is wonderful... really helps you and us to be better ❤❤
He lacks footwork tho, you have to move really well to play at the next higher level for USTA. Both of their movements have to improve a lot before they move up. I just got bumped to 4.5 this year since I went undefeated in the 4.0 spring season.
Guy in red has good potential to improve - needs some good one on one training. There’s a few weapons that when sharpened up could really improve his game. People are often critical - but this was an enjoyable watch. Thanks for posting.
Nice match. Blue really should work on having a viable BH slice, that wing had too many errors. Nice serving from both. I would say Blue is low 4.0 while Red is a small step better.
This is 3 level tennis. Also blue is using forehand slice but it is a low % shot for his as results in a immediate error most of the time due to poor technique. Would be better off playing a moon ball. Backhand slice also low % shot for him
My game is exactly like Reds, im trying to push 4.5 but silly errors really kill me. I make the same exact errors as him the forehand frames and the awkward footwork. Anyone have any advice for this kind of player? The worst is that forehand miss, i cant figure it out.
Not a huge fan of this angle. Much prefer the fence mount to look down on the court. Enjoyed the match! Can’t understand the uninformed comments about USTA ratings!
I wasn't going to comment but Tennis slicer seems a bit pissed and mad at so many people here. I have no idea how good he is but in this video 4.0 is not on display.
U don’t need to be consistent to be a 4.0. I mean when I was a junior I felt like and I was better than this but 4.0 seems right. You can be a pusher and be consistent. Only surprise to me is that their first serve isn’t faster. When I was barely in HS I was trying to rip the ball on my first serve at least and I was less than 98 lbs back then. I’m fine with them saying 4.0. 3.0 can barely kick serve n these guys at least could do that. So let me ask u a question, if I haven’t touched a tennis racquet in 20 years is it fair for me to join an adult 3.0 tournament? Let’s just say Say I would have gotten a full ride tennis scholarship had I chose to pursue tennis instead enlisted to serve in the army. I just started again 6 months ago. Would it be fair for me play 3.0?
@@FMD023 USTA def: "Dependable strokes. Players with a 4.0 rating can hit dependable strokes with control and depth on both their forehand and backhand sides. They can also vary the depth of their shots during moderately paced play." Definition of dependable: trustworthy and reliable. Their shots are not reliable based on this video. Also it says control, not much control over the ball in this video. Red shirt is better than the guy in the blue though. You have no idea what you are talking about.
don't know why people question about the ratings in the comment section. Both players seem solid 4.0 to me. They get a lot of pace on the serve and FH. The guy in red shirt is easily a 4.5.
If you think he's a 4.5, you really don't know what an actual 4.5 looks like lol. The guy was missing easy shots left, right, long constantly or straight into the net .. his footwork was incredibly sluggish and he's hitting without consistent form (leading to his misses). Actual 4.5s would cream this guy. They're both 3.5s at best.
@@tennisslicer lol I'm in Chicago. Are you red shirt? Red shirt is a bit better, but not sure if really 4.0. Honestly the range for what people call '4.0' on youtube is quite high
No, I’m 45 years old in blue and just started playing league last 3 years. Still need to learn a lot though… I wonder y’all play any league up there or just record while hitting back and forth and act like you’re playing in real matches? Cause down here we’re playing league matches all year round base on rating like USTA , Ultimate, T2 league
@@tennisslicer Also no offense meant but I think Luis is right. This seems more like 3.5 at best. Maybe your opponent has the means to be 4.0 but he's very irregular.
Why don't you check out essential tennis channel and see some of those 4.5 sh@#$ers they have on there. The pace these guys can hit would be winners on a 3.5 court all day. Most ppl do overate themselves but this is one not at all.

Yes that’s the whole point I’m doing it.. thx for watching
Red's technique is absolutely amazing. If he keeps playing he can easily get to 4.5 or even 5.0. He doesn't need to work on fundamentals at all

The guy in red is only playing for like 6 years
Great match! Enjoyed watching! 🎉🎉🎉

06:24, throwing racquet speed 100 mph
Red shirt has a one hander and a two hand topspin backhand
Good catch, some guys just can't decide what they want to use.

They must have played without warm up and no practice for 3 or 4 weeks.
You mean first time playing.
Either they are not using their own rackets or there is something wrong that’s causing them not playing 4.0 levels
both of you have good serves, but the forehands keep hitting the net

Nice match, but it seemed like you lost intensity after losing the first set.
Nice one
Quite horrible to watch, really.
I really like red shit guy's form on his serve

You’re right why I had to be piss about it cause in the end, it’s just a game .. and I don’t get pay from it nor the videos I posted, peace ✌️
Holy smokes, please change title to 3.0. consistency is so lacking... These are not dependable strokes... Ball is all over the place.

The guy in red has so much show and flair before he touches the ball. Then its all haywire…
This is 3 not 4.
Or 2.5…

Both you guys are clowns
I'd like to see red serve and volley or serve, approach, volley more- he seems to struggle with groundstroke consistency.

Here’s it
This is 4.0, the red guy is your typical 4.0, could be 4.5 soon. Slicer is boom boom in your face, 4.0 also.
No where close with those serves. You throw simple slice 65 to 70 mph points over after a return and volley winner.

4.0?
Check out my new videos
So many unforced errors... both players have difficulty putting two quality shots together. This is not 4.0. Far too inconsistent, too many mistakes.
You’re right… we are just got bumped to 4.0 last couple season. Are you from Georgia cause I wanna challenge you .
or just one...😀

This video tells me tennis rankings are just as dishonest and inaccurate as golf handicaps.
No split step from blue
Sus call out at 34 seconds
Clearly IN
PS97?
No I’m mean RF 97
call alot of questionnable outs

Unforced errors galore 😬
I had see a lot of 3.0's that play way better than that!
Only 4,000 unforced errors. Not too bad.
This is 3.0!!!! Which region is this. I’m professional compared to this nonsense.
Cvta in Rome Ga if you’re professional you shouldn’t compare to people amateurs like us
This is not 4.0
4.0??? sure sure the most brain dead hits I've seen on a racket
00:33 lolol
4.0 haha

3.0
