This is the silence. A terrifying new minecraft mod that just got a huge update.
It follows the succes of many other popular mods like the Cave Dweller or the man from the fog.
Altough it is important to note that this mod brings new and creative ideas that havent been seen before in other mods.

This is a good mod only to watch scaredy cats content creators scream.
It's too oppressive with rules, and it has unnecessary jumpscares. I think people forget that for you to scare someone genuinely, you need to create an environment.
For instance, the strategy of abusing a false sense of security.

the dev literally said that this mod is inspired by puppet combo games so it makes sense
DO NOT INSTALL ON ALREADY MADE WORLDS. For some reason the stupid thing just spawns in your house, and any world with this monster in it seems to be corrupted if you remove the mod. Makes the game unplayable.

No offense to the mod creator but this mod is extremely obnoxious. Just loud noises and random jumpscares. Still, this is quite different from the dweller content.

Been trying to download this but having trouble. Says i have to download geckolib but then geckolib says it's incompatable with the mod. Anyone else having this problem?
Check the version number maybe.
Edit: or maybe you've got the wrong MC version? The Silence works with 1.19.2 currently.
beehive i tried adding geckolib but it tells me it was an error loading the mod
make sure u have the right ersion of everything or any incompatible mods but other than that idk
