Hi Valencia! (Love the name!) Thank you for this reaction! This was part of Aretha's comeback hits. I was born in the 70s so most of her hits came in the 1960s and 70s. She was a church girl mostly, but then hit the mainstream. In the 80s and 90s she reemerged with a string of popular radio hits: Jump to It, Who's Zoomin' Who, Jumpin' Jack Flash, Pink Cadillac, Freeway of Love and even this one. You should try some of these. She was an amazing lady. ⭐

Trivia: This was Aretha’s first and last UK number one and her return to the top of the USA charts after a long time (George had already topped the British & USA charts a number of times as a solo artist and as the lead singer of Wham!)
This is Aretha’s biggest billboard hot 100 hit single (George already had a much bigger hit with Carless Whisper and would go on to have many more bigger hits).
As already stated by someone else, this song won a Grammy for both singers in the best duet or group performance category.
Two legends, two icons, gone too soon! Irreplaceable voices.
