I feel like Aerith on these battles is really powerful, when using ATB boost and immediately dropping a Radiant Ward, then follow up with an Arcane Ward stacked on top and use Barrett to synergy skill defend you. Pull the enemies away a bit then ward shift and drop Firaga, can obliterate pretty fast it carried me through the first brutal battle quite easily.
You're very correct, and Aerith gets subbed in for Tifa in my later brutal challenges. I like her paired with yuffie instead though for the infinite MP synergy skill and the fact they have 2 of the best ways to regain MP without materia help. Tifa is amazing for fast staggers, increasing stagger damage, and starshower paired with windstorm for groups, and is a great fit for the early challenges
When I first did this it took many tries. My initial win actually involved getting all 3 bound and then Bahamut giga flaring one of them to finish it off and then I was unbound lol
@@Gatabud I'm using the limit siphon thing on cloud and the limit booster to give Tifa half her limit break. At the start of the round limit siphon tifa's limit break and find a enemy to stagger with cloud and I can usally get 1 or 2 of clouds level 3 limit breaks off. probably not the most effective way but it seems to work. Still kicking my butt tho.

@@Gatabud I’m at level 70. I keep getting stuck on the 9th enemy. They keep trapping all of my characters. I’ll try one last time before I go to bed
