It is fun to test new technologies, and UV 3d print is so much fun. Used to filament PLA printer, trying this one mean a great experience and a new tool to learn. How to place the support material, how to process the resin once it is printed, etc. The printing world, we dreamed on it when I was a student.

this guy look like he lives his own life, passion and happiness. the world is in his studio... such a interesting man
working with the resin is a mess but the results are so great!!
Now... if we could only get a printer that lays in color like Laika does with their's for a workable price. BTW, how brittle was the resin that you are working with there Edu? Like "candy glass" or better?
What makes your work perfect is having a collection of skills mechanical , technical , engineering and artistic which lead to great creativity , keep impressing us with your work 👍🏼
I think it is really important to learn how to do things and keep exploring artistic experience to make appealing things
I remember watching a video of yours a couple years back and getting obsessed with stop motion after discovering channels like you, lozaus1, counter656 and now I've finally decided to commit and start making my own stop motion
Great! I hope you're make part eye of paranorman In scale of Puppets! 🔥🔥🔥
Awasome ❤️
What a good video, hey you could create a wire stop motion figure, but from start to finish, with his face and body already made, I have already seen most of your videos but I am not quite left with how to make them,I would like you to explain everything well and teach us to do the wire thing but not to move so much.
this is very interesting! thanks for this video Edu
Yes, I enjoyed so much the experience
So cool!! 🤩
8:23 So satisfying!!!!!
Yes it is☺️
Awesome!
You know what would be fun? Do an animation directly on the printer's build plate.
Fun and messy
Hola Edu!
Hola, no lo he pensado, yo he usado lumecubes en alguna vez
Fascinating video! I love the experimentation with the eye sockets.
Do you think 3d printing molds for silicone parts would work? 🤔
I'm much better at 3D modeling on a computer than with my hands.
I think it is a good idea but you have to use resin designed for casting or silicone will not cure
*that.*
*is.*
*magic!*
isn't it?
@@edupuertasfruns the supports break so easily!
Please keep making video. Because your video push me to think more about animation. If it's possible upload a video every week. You can make some blog too. Thank you.
Hey, a video per week would be lovely to post. Please help me sharing the content so I can do more. 😅
@@edupuertasfruns cars movie in stop motion
Any chance you could upload the paranorman eyes stl? I've been trying to get it down for years.
it is a prototype and a lot bigger, don't think you could use it like this.
Yes, I’d love to see the STL file for the eyes. Would be happy to scale it down, test and share back if it works
Yay, wondered how long it'd take you to get one of these cheap printers!! Mines the non-mono version of the Photon and I've made sooo many things and have even more ideas for making stuff in mass for stop motion :) Just need to convince you to get into casting polyurethene platics from silicone moulds you've made from the printed parts, and eventually metals ;) hehe
Also, if you want the "best" afforable printer for tiny scale thing, the Sonic Mini 4K is uncomparably superior for small scale, as it has a 35 micron resolution miimum, compared to the Photon Mono's bloated 52 micron resolution. For fine detail, it's quite a huge difference :) All the jewellers I know on budgets are using this over the very expensive comparable pro level machines, as it produces as good as, or better results :)
For resins, I'm not sure which ones you have access to Portugal, but for me in the UK these are the absolute best available for budget, and both are availabel via Amazon, "Siraya Tech Fast" , "Siraya Tech Engineering" "Siraya Tech Sculpt" are the absolute best that I can get, and "Elegoo ABS like" is a good close runner up that I use a lot for less important things. The official Anycubic resin is somewhere languishing at the bottom of the ocean in the terms of how good it is by comparison and I only use if I have ran out of all other resins, including my trash bottle that has all the dregs of different resins that i have used mixed up (making a yummy brown colour lol)
Sorry to write so much here, you give a lot to us freely and I thought it'd be nice to contribute some of the knowledge and experience I've picked up on this topic :)
good to know this, I did not have comparision to any level, so I know how nice it is but not compared with other stuff.
Thanks for all this information, I will dig into it and test other resins for sure, and knowing all you say will help a lot on my decisions.
Thanks a lot
Está muy loco
Could you print the armatures with this ? Or an fdm printer ?
This in not strong enough for that
🤖👽
Hmmm . . . how does this work?
it is magic, you fill it with resin and the light cures it layer by layer
Would you greet me in one of your videos my name is ARIAN and I am your fan and I always will be
No te rindas
:D
