The revamped version sounds and looks like it should have originally been made that way from the beginning. When you listen to the original version I find a huge disconnect with the lyrics because of how it's being sung. The lyrics are actually really tragic and heartfelt, being sung with a happy vibe. And that's where I feel... meh. I mean, if people find themselves enjoying th energy in the original version. That's dope. I just much prefer the revamped version. It has a more genuine energy to it
I’m a former addict myself and I have a connection to both. The revamped is a Ronnie whose taking his lyrics seriously and facing his demons, whereas the original is more so him looking at it as fun and like a borderline personality trait which I did for the first 3 years I spent fucked up. It’s a common transition for many so I’m thankful he released the new one

The fact that the first video is 2011 and the white belts, band scene hair I mean isn't far off from shit we wore in 2003/2004 high school. Looking back I didn't realize just how long that look was around
Radke was always into the 80s Motley Crue era, and that's the look he portrayed through out Escape The Fate, and the beginning of Falling In Reverse. He was just trying to look like Nikki Sixx. Plus the "scene" look was older than that. The earliest I've seen of it would be the Sonny Moore (Skrillex) era of From First To Last. Another close "first to be scene" could be argued about the first couple albums from The Used, and My Chemical Romance.
