Just some tips to help you out trev. On a short track like this it’s more beneficial to brake into the corner than lift. When you brake you can be more aggressive going into the corner. Also on some of your turns you were taking a very tight angle entering, which in return makes your car slide up the track unless you brake way more than you need to if you entered from the top of the track. Also in pit stops if your car is tight go down on the wedge adjustment to loosen it up, or if it’s loose go up on the wedge to tighten the car. Hope these help.
When it comes to braking. Braking wears your tires down more but coasting also gets you into that corner faster but more chance of crashing or losing your race line. BTW I dont know what race you watched I was on the edge of my seat with Verstappen and Bottas on those last two laps. XD
Idk Hamilton kinda checked out, and the Verstappen and bottas battle was decently intriguing, but a bit anticlimactic. Not too much action. Definitely not as good as Norris’s last lap drama in Austria.
If you get right up on dudes when you’re drafting, you can literally push them all the way to the front and get distance and then pass them when the race is almost over. Sometimes it’s hard though when they change their lines too much
"You always hear people joke about turning left but there's a lot more that goes into it." Yep! I grew up with oval racing. I have an appreciation for circuit racing as well. But people really try to undermine oval racing. It is just turning left. But it's the necessity of needing to hit your mark, your line, your braking point, your exit point, your throttle EVERY. SINGLE. LAP. All while racing inches from other cars that makes it difficult. There's nothing easy about oval racing. A lot of it as attrition as well, these are 500 lap races with only a few breaks for cautions in cars that are 135 degrees on the inside. It's no Sunday drive. :) Glad you appreciate what it is and that it's not as easy as people think. Especially with a cockpit perspective.
And, about the line, it changes every lap. You're always searching around the track to figure out where your car works best, and that changes as runs and races progress. I'm at the point where I just give up on trying to explain what's so great about oval racing. If they don't get it now, chances are they never will.
Pro tips. For the nascar game. Going through turns just let off the gas while kinda lightly pumping the gas, no breaks. Pits: the easiest way to keep your car from sliding when tires are worn is to use absolutely no break until you’re right up on the pit then apply a lot of break. Let off the throttle early in corners when turning. You likely have a slower car than 70% of the field so drafting is key, but it’s tough. I play on expert and honestly it doesn’t seem to be a whole lot different. Our gameplays seem pretty close. You should try using the pits and maybe bump the number of Laps up one more tick. Usually it takes me anywhere from 30-45 minutes to do a race but some stuff during a video can obviously be cut. Like running 15 laps in 11th place or something and there’s no one around you
I know you don't love the cockpit view but I suggest you try it at Daytona or Talladega. Those two tracks are the most fun for it when you are racing because you go so fast and are so close to everybody. You really have to listen to your spotter when in cockpit at both those tracks due to the limited visibility. Also, when the race ends there should be a "view replay" button. It comes up on the screen when it gives you your speed rating. Not sure if you can see other cars wrecks but worth taking a look.
Yo Trevor, here's a FUN FACT: monster trucks used to race at Richmond Raceway back in the day, they used pit road as their track and they hated the pit wall. Awesome videos, my dude. Keep it up, brother!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nice vid trev. I like how this and ur F1 series are 2 different play styles. In F1 its more technical and more in depth with the car while this is mostly "left turns" with some technical and not much to do wuth the car. I enjoy this more when u are out there causing havoc. Anywho, keep up good work and now im onto theHunter vid woot woot
Not just using braking or just using the coasting method it’s a special touch of both using brake and gas at same time works as well keeping your rpms up
When doing those turns, try guess estimate when to let off the gas. Yes, braking would be quicker and make you faster to slow down. But to have a swoop( to let off the brake at a good distance away from the turn then push back on after the turn has made) which would benefit you after the turn
You let off going into corners don't get on the brakes unless you need to check up from running into someone. It's key to find points on the track to let off at entering the corner. Then find the point after center of the corner to get back in the gas. That's why you need to put in the practice laps.
Loving the videos man, I think you should switch to stage racing though, you’re able to pit and races are more intense!! Maybe after this season try the truck series!
You can check the replay after the rating points at the end of the race. It says press Y to view and you can switch to length of highlights or full replay. Same with F1 I like to watch the highlights which is third one down from the finishing screen. If you press X (twice) on NASCAR you will bring up a relative screen to show the gap to the drivers around. Also try out the second hood view. I like that one the most when I race NASCAR. It’s kinda like the F1 view
That Texas race today was pretty good rcr getting 1 and 2nd position s in row since 2011 and race overall was pretty great I was hoping Tyler Reddick would of won his first cup race as a rookie but he came up short and got 2nd
Sam hornish jr is actually from my town and my dad has done work on his house many times and is sort of friends with him now. Sam is also an Indy 500 winner
I brake if im going harder into turns if im trying to make up ground. Cons: Tire wear, traction brake bias needs to be adnusted or youll just skid ive noticed. I usually coast on a good rhythm run.
I would assume, just by video game logic, that when the arrows go red (in practice) you should brake, and then when it transitions from red to yellow and then to green, you should be back on the gas.
Jimmie Johnson said it best on dale Jr download, tuck ur foot under brake and use gas pedal like a light switch, at least in current gen car, brakes tend to destroy tires currently
@ TmarTn just to let u know u only needed on can of fuel. Lighter is faster!!! I know ur not that knowledgeable in NASCAR racing but i can help u a little. glad u finally figured out to loosen your set up in qualifying then changing ur car for the race.
Trev I have a tip for you for the Talladega race at the first conner the cars might crash so you go on the in or outside line and don't lift just floor it
Once you get used to the cockpit view I think it’s easier to hit your turns the way you want. I’ve gotten so used to it I can’t race in any other camera mode
You should break trevor on the turns because if you let of the gas you are decreasing speed fast but when you break you are decreasing speed less than letting of the gas.
He keeps saying “I’m not trying to race dirty” meanwhile he’s spinning people out left and right 😂😂😂
And centre
Fiona MacDowall Brit alert
Neal Lavelle DINOCOS ALL MINE
Trev: we kinda scraped the wall there
The car: I have lost the whole right side of my body please pit
Lmaoo
9:51 crew chief be like: “watch that wall it’s a little slick there.”
Trevor: *scraping noises*
Crew chief: “ You have hit a wall, you hav hit a wall”
"tiny ass little mirror" naw I think that's a you problem trev
Loving f1 and nascar heat 5! Definitely keep uploading these!
Imagine getting a heart from Trevor
Trev, you mad man
Lol
Can’t ever relate lol
Imagine him doing 3 f1 vids tomorrow? 🤷♂️
Shawn Arnold stfu
I like watching trev playing f1 so much that I want to be a f1 driver lmao
Same
f1 is ridiculously hard and expensive to make it into to
Jake Allen
Dreams will be Dreams,
Until You Succeed.
I want to also I love driving so much and I would love to be at the week of a car
I’ve started my karting to get into f1
I love this game so much. I've watched every episode of this series. To be honest I think I like the F1 serie a bit more. But both are amazing games.
I was wondering when you were gonna try this!! I have loved your videos and have been watching since you played rs6 siege. Keep it up

Funny how he did a southern accent for Bowman when he’s the least southern driver in the series lol

Really enjoying the nascar heat 5 content bro not a series I thought I would be interested in but I like, keep it up
I love how trev plays nascar with an f1 wheel the 🐐

Pro tips. For the nascar game.

Yay. Love the inside view. Love the NASCAR and F1 So Far. Keep Up The Great Work Trevor and Stay Safe
Trev: I'm trina find that line

Yass please keep posting these I love this game
Loving the Uploads Trev, Been growing on this game, you'll only get better 😁🔥🤟 I'm a big forza fan myself but I'm really enjoying this series 😁
I like the normal camera view better, but anyways nice video trev :)
Keep up the work trev
When ur early but don’t know what to say
Your vids make me so excited
No do not break it will mess you up and you will have a great chance of crashing.
cockpit view is AWESOME!
Love your videos tmartn
I loved the episode of super cooper today it was funny cooper just wants those treats it made me laugh
Not just using braking or just using the coasting method it’s a special touch of both using brake and gas at same time works as well keeping your rpms up
You can go into replay at the end of the race to maybe see who made contact with another driver.
Cockpit view looked awesome this. Well the game just looks amazing
Just to let you know there’s a setting called brake smoothing that makes you a little slower in corners on short tracks
Also the car is braking for you on turns because of certain driving aids you have on so your not letting off
This is my favorite series so far
Trev my man! You are one hell of a driver. I mean to me you are a good driver
My setup for this is coming tomorrow so excited to play
This shape track is called a tri-oval homie. Great videos man.
Hey I love u trev keep up the good work
Nice this looks sick, was waiting fore you to try out this camera! Keep up the work!
I'm from a very country part of NC and it's funny hearing you talk like we do lmaooooo

Trev, if the racing line turns red that means you are supposed to brake. If it remains green or goes yellow or whatever you only have to lift.
Just want to put this out there you can also research custom setup and put them on just like F1. Like both the F1 and nascar series
Love this and the f1 series
great vid bro
Nice car dude
I love you Trev your my favorite youtuber.
I was waiting for this, cheers Trev
Ideally, you want to roll through the turns rather than braking at tracks like Bristol, Richmond, Dover, etc. (
You let off going into corners don't get on the brakes unless you need to check up from running into someone. It's key to find points on the track to let off at entering the corner. Then find the point after center of the corner to get back in the gas. That's why you need to put in the practice laps.
Hi I love the vied
Love this series good job trev
New episode, Awesome... Just in time for my break 😁👍🏻
Great vid Trev keep it up !!
Keep up the videos man
It depends on which track if you have to coast. Sometimes you can a higher line if you have a good setup for the high line.
Loving the videos man, I think you should switch to stage racing though, you’re able to pit and races are more intense!! Maybe after this season try the truck series!
Once the race ends there is a chance to watch the replay of the race so you can watch the crashes you definitely didn’t cause..
You need some more twang with that accent
You can check the replay after the rating points at the end of the race. It says press Y to view and you can switch to length of highlights or full replay. Same with F1 I like to watch the highlights which is third one down from the finishing screen. If you press X (twice) on NASCAR you will bring up a relative screen to show the gap to the drivers around. Also try out the second hood view. I like that one the most when I race NASCAR. It’s kinda like the F1 view
I used to play in third person but I told myself I need to play in the cockpit camera mode. One month later I've gotten use to it!
I kept refreshing for the last 10 mins
That Texas race today was pretty good rcr getting 1 and 2nd position s in row since 2011 and race overall was pretty great I was hoping Tyler Reddick would of won his first cup race as a rookie but he came up short and got 2nd
Love the content keep em coming
Sam hornish jr is actually from my town and my dad has done work on his house many times and is sort of friends with him now. Sam is also an Indy 500 winner
Really gets me thinking of picking this game up
Keep up the vids bro
I brake if im going harder into turns if im trying to make up ground. Cons: Tire wear, traction brake bias needs to be adnusted or youll just skid ive noticed. I usually coast on a good rhythm run.
You should totally wreck Kyle Busch and make him your rival lol having rivals makes the races more interesting
This is my home town just starting to watch this vid good luck
I love these videos no quite sure how I feel about inside cam just don’t care for it
I would assume, just by video game logic, that when the arrows go red (in practice) you should brake, and then when it transitions from red to yellow and then to green, you should be back on the gas.
Jimmie Johnson said it best on dale Jr download, tuck ur foot under brake and use gas pedal like a light switch, at least in current gen car, brakes tend to destroy tires currently
Love your vids
I've been waiting on this
press y after the race is finished to look at the replay or look at the bottom left of the screen and you will see it luv your vids
Love this series
Another video. Yay! 😀
@ TmarTn just to let u know u only needed on can of fuel. Lighter is faster!!! I know ur not that knowledgeable in NASCAR racing but i can help u a little. glad u finally figured out to loosen your set up in qualifying then changing ur car for the race.
WELCOMUHH TO RICHMOND VIRGINIYA. Love ya Trev
You should do the driver view when you go to Talladega! It’s wild!
Turn the races up for superspeedways so you can get up to the front in more than a dozen laps
Good thing you didn’t get in a crash during practice just like bubba Wallace did in the all star race
If I was with Nascar Heat 5 I would try to do Dinocos all mine
Can we all say we enjoy F1 way more then nascar i like nascar but F1 is just on another level 🔥😂
Trev I have a tip for you for the Talladega race at the first conner the cars might crash so you go on the in or outside line and don't lift just floor it
You already have a win, so you're in the playoffs. Just try to stay in the top ten until then.winning races earns you five playoff points.
"InSIdE COcKPiT vIEw *hArD*"lol 🤣🤣
Once you get used to the cockpit view I think it’s easier to hit your turns the way you want. I’ve gotten so used to it I can’t race in any other camera mode
