Straight couples aren't allowed. There are multiple complex reasons for this, but some main points are: 1st Its that crunchy-roll claimed that they would fund original anime and then went on to fund this show which everyone considers a low quality cartoon and not an original anime. 2nd The trailer for the show added fuel to the fire as the people working on it came off as virtue signalling as they appeared disingenuous and uninterested in making a anime as they seemed to care more about who was on the show, rather then making a good show [Original trailer: ua-cam.com/video/PZSOGZFfSDk/v-deo.html ] 3rd Bad PR as some of the people on the show turned out to be really misandristic as they made a lot of sexist comments about their dislike for men, which people believe influenced how the straight male characters in this show were written and represented through the view of a misandrist. 4th The parts animation quality is terrible for a supposed professional animation studio who kept pushing the release date back as they over claimed and under delivered.

Parnell (Secretly a badass as the hedge maze episode showed off), Slime boy (just generally chill and fun whenever he's on screen), Thyme's dad (Risking his own life to protect his family), there's a good variety of pretty decent dudes floating around in the show. People latch on to Aster to prove their narrative and ignore literally all the other characters which disprove said narrative. Straight couples aren't allowed. As they shouldn't be, our kids shouldn't be exposed to that (just a little tease to the people who say this about gay couples)
But seriously, this show does NOT show same sex couples well. Some of the end game ships are toxic as fuck, and there are only 3 people worth watching the show for. It's not the main character or the blue haired girl
@@anonymoususer385 3 characters are slime boy, amaryllis, and snapdragon, the rest are god awful or just not important to me
Panty and Stocking looks more like an anime despite LITERALLY trying to look like an western cartoon, what's this show's excuse lol
They just suck, I mean even that anime SpongeBob fanmade parody could be possibly greenlit as an anime if the audience were given a choice in the matter.
He literally asks a question and the teacher laughs at him. Aster wasn't even disrespectful!
All the dude asks, what is a rune? And this sh!tty teacher acted like he doesn’t know the question.
What they're trying to pass as the point here is probably because he should know that already, being in a school for that at least. Probably to communicate how dumb he is. They did my boi Link so dirty.
I can feel the dread of the voice actors from here. That show is a crime
ik he is not real link cuz real link only can say a few words like "HYA"or "HAAAA"or "EXCUUUUUUUUUSE ME PRINCES!"
Or "Gee... it sure is BORING around here!"
0:14:What are you doing here, Charming, you should have stayed in Shrek 2?
teacher's voice is so flat that I don't know how any other student can pay attention
they were just pretending he wasn't there since he gets to pretend he's not a dude
oh shit the teacher's a dude
Yes but actually no
She
The teacher is a gal
used to be a girl or something idk
Still is a girl.
I genuinely though the blond guy was a girl
I wouldn't blame U😂
Aryan Chad shows the class that he's in charge with his Sigma energy
Bro said Aryan😭
oh my god he's beautiful.
I've literally clicked on this video because of him in the thumbnail, hoping someone would mention his name so I could finally look him up
It’s because he looks likelink and link is already gorgeous
@@themasterprocrastinator4933 I think it was Aster
@@lunatica3797 Thanks!
He may be beautiful, but he kinda bland bestie. Just reminding you
Obviously, the archer girl is an insult to the Gerudo species, that's why she is there and not in her hoem town.
For a show that's progressive, they really do like making fun of people who are slow learners. Aster fits the dumb jock troupe which is just a sad jab at student athletes (who are actually trying hard to keep up with studies and sports at the same time).
I mean if they were going for toxic male, up the narcissism and entitlement instead of 'dumb pretty boy'. Like for once, make us feel sorry that the protag went through that and NOT the other way around.
He really went like "Oh you're not joking" after laughing 💀
Walmart link: what's a rune
Link with his sheikah slate, which possesses 5+ runes: *hyah?* ("Are you kidding me right now?")
Thats a budget version of Albedo and Link combined
This character is the first time I've chuckled from this series so far.
Pink girl left some wild breaths out
I guess link got isekaid and forgot how to use runes.
Pfhahahahahaha
Imagine if Nintendo actually made Link look like this in BOTW 2
*"IT'S PROFESSOR"*
It would’ve actually been fine if he just went “HYAAAA” For every interaction
0:29
So the teacher isn't going to do anything about her sitting there by the window?
Idk if it's normal but if I did that in class I would definitely get called out for it
I think Link is high on guardian spice
Walmart link (cis male teen): 1 dimensional
Purple haired boy (cis male teen): 1 dimensional (+great voice acting)
Snapdragon (trans teen): good written
Are you seeing a theme here?
Snapdragon and good written?
0:45 The glance has sound effects. THE GLANCE.
“We have Link at home” ahh character
Have the writers seriously never talked to a man before?
i dont think they talked to, people, before
Western Anime is a very hard thing to attempt, and can be done right if many rules are followed, like Avatar: The Last Airbender...
High Guardian Spice seems to ignore all of these rules as it drives in the wrong lane of the highway.
I hate it when i have a genuine question that ik is stupid and the teacher just says "you shouldve learned that in 5th grade" and moves on.
Like excuse me, why did i even ask then??
0:53 this tries to make him look stupid but it does make sense for him to ask that, the academy had classes for warriors and magic users but the writtes forgot about it and just combined them together to have all the characters in a single room, there is no reason for rosemary to learn about runes but there she is just to stay with sage, the dude probably is a victim of poor writing and has to deal with staying in classes he shouldnt have
When i first heard his name my immediate thought went to pasta

I'm ashamed to admit it but this is literally me when I'm watching an anime/playing a game and my anime/game crush is on screen...
I am not subtle....not.subtle.at.all....
-It's a miracle I somehow managed to convince my mom that I see Venti (Genshin) in a purely platonic/motherly way seeing as how I not only have a throw pillow of him, several ringtones, wallpapers, and backgrounds, talk about him nonstop in my Genshin crazes, and stare at him in every cutscene he's in because usually by now she would have realized that 1. This isn't exactly a familial attachment and 2. I'm just very motherly towards people I care about/empathize with....-
I really hate this character but I cant get over how much he looks like link. Im glad im not the only one who noticed this
why does the teacher let the edgy girl sit in the window?!!!
"oh, I'm so mysterious and rebellious that I don't even follow the rules of the class and I sit wherever I want"
Not to mention the other students behind the desks by the shelves. I guess there aren’t seats available.
What happened to you, Albedo?!
I do like caroways response to what’s a rune “hahaha…hmm”
Expected: A typical pretty boy love interest for the main character to fawn over & turns into a complete fool around him (but he actually finds it cute).
Actuality: He's basically Gaston's illegitimate child that is a complete self-absorbed sexist jerk.🙄
I rather have the cliché over the obvious character the writers make into the villain because of his gender (and the head writer is the infamous pink haired Karen who loathes men, despite having male staff members helping her & the other women around).😒
I think they were going for making him look stupid by having him ask that question but.... The audience doesn't know either I think so that's kind of a fail
... *Walmart Albedo--*
The Link I knew had more personality than this chump. And he's literally supposed to be a LINK between the game and the player.
damn albedo what did ya smoke
Why does the professor have such a high-pitched nasaly voice compared to his class of tweens?
He is Trans (Woman -> men)
@@lordjor96 In a world where he can literally use magic to be a perfectly functional, masculine male, there shouldn't logically be the side effect of a high pitched voice...Instead, he could have some subtly feminine mannerisms left over from his past as a girl. But of course, that would require 1. Logical writing and 2. understanding of human behavioral tendencies, particularly masculine vs feminine behaviors.
@@jonquilgemstone but, what about...THE MESAGE!
@@lordjor96 aka living a lie and forcing other people to accept it as truth
@@hobomike6935 The only difference here being that the professor lives in a world of magic. As a result she can legitimately be a he, DNA and all.
We don't live in a world of magic......
Link go back to smash
Oh, he smashes alright.

The dollar store version of link
getting so annoyed with "hot guy who is new to the school shows up late for class and main girl falls instantly for him"
Honestly, the writing team could've done something with his charcater. Make him nuanced. One of my favorutie personal characterizations of him is by Jamie de Jonge (check them out). But the concept maybe he had to gros up early to protect family (partiucallty sisters sicne refering to Jamie de janges thing here) could explain a lot and he learns throughout the show that "hey. I don't have to stand in everything a girl is being hurt".
No way, I didn’t know they would paint a male character is a good lig- nevermind they made him stupid and doesn’t know, what I assume, something normal in that world
Has anyone else noticed how the underside of Sage's braid just stayed static THE WHOLE VIDEO?
These dialogues are written by someone who didn't have studied "film scripts"
I'm not exactly a writer of dialogues i'm just a beginner and i'm just a 17 old boy but repeating heyx2 doesn't give any tactical advantages now he should have to Hey alot of times along the series just to be a meme or he should have said something else like "what's up" or "hello there" not to the pink haired girl but to everybody.
Sorry for bad English i'm Italian
0:56 the internet laughing with CrunchyRolls epic prank by making a fake trailer for HGS 3 years ago 😄.....then realizing they were serious 😐
They really said "link is hot we should make a dollar store version of him"
0:29 they even got urbosa
i know literally nothing about this show and as far as im concerned i can only describe it as
"Owl House.... but no-one likes it for some reason"
There are multiple complex reasons for this, but some main points are:
1st Its that crunchy-roll claimed that they would fund original anime and then went on to fund this show which everyone considers a low quality cartoon and not an original anime.
2nd The trailer for the show added fuel to the fire as the people working on it came off as virtue signalling as they appeared disingenuous and uninterested in making a anime as they seemed to care more about who was on the show, rather then making a good show [Original trailer: ua-cam.com/video/PZSOGZFfSDk/v-deo.html ]
3rd Bad PR as some of the people on the show turned out to be really misandristic as they made a lot of sexist comments about their dislike for men, which people believe influenced how the straight male characters in this show were written and represented through the view of a misandrist.
4th The parts animation quality is terrible for a supposed professional animation studio who kept pushing the release date back as they over claimed and under delivered.
@@masc6287 and slime boy with the worst mic on earth
@@masc6287 3 REALLY doesn't seem to check out though between Caraway (literally the only character who gets to show off and adult's level of power in this series and only gets beaten through foul play. Also seemingly the only teacher to take his students' safety seriously.) Parnell (Secretly a badass as the hedge maze episode showed off), Slime boy (just generally chill and fun whenever he's on screen), Thyme's dad (Risking his own life to protect his family), there's a good variety of pretty decent dudes floating around in the show. People latch on to Aster to prove their narrative and ignore literally all the other characters which disprove said narrative.
Also as for 4 I feel like the delayed release date was an attempt to evade the internet hate mobs from the first trailer (which for the record I agree was bad.), which didn't end up working.
Excuuuuuuuuuuse me princess
Why am I offended at the fact that his name is Link and also looks like him
Should replace with Link grunting.
I'm sorry but that is just so funny
The look on Caraway's face like "Oh so you DUMB Dumb"
