He got unexpectedly released at the end of spring training and no one picked him up. He was a little old for a prospect at his level, he would have been 25 in AA and teams must have felt he was not on track to provide a big bat a team expects for a corner OF.
D S , I saw one of His videos that told his story. He was released at the end of spring training the year after making the All-Star team. It was totally unexpected by his coaches as he had a good spring, but his parent club had other ideas and he was cut. Sort of like Kevin Pillar of the Giants who was cut after a career year and winning the teams most inspirational player award. It’s sad but this sort of thing happens all the time in baseball.
@@YouGoPro When you are a ball player, you never stop playing. I used to play and because I don't play anymore, I started to umpire. When I'm umpiring I'm the extra player, lol. I don't ump for the money; I ump because I'm playing, at the same time. But he should still be playing
@@GrandpawTheGreat I think this type of players are not ambitious enough. Back on my island, Dominican, you keep going. When we get released we go to Japan or any other league, regroup and come back maybe you are given another chance. Who knows! You know what I'm saying? Many is not expecting to be picked up but when you love the game you just play lol
How many more mph's would you be getting with the aluminum bat he is using compared to wood? I have hit 93 on the pocket radar with a 34/32 wood. Either way....100+ off a tee is gas!
Depends. Ive seen people hit harder with a woodbat. I personally swing better with a woodbat. I generate more power. But if there is a bbcr bat out there that mimicks the type of woodbat i use id prob hit harder woth that
I was wondering the same thing. He’s not using a BBCOR for the examples which is kind of an inaccurate representation. Probably getting 5+ extra mph using that bat as opposed to a BBCOR. 103 off a tee with a BBCOR is almost unheard of.
@@markpelletier141 yes I know. I have a stinger nuke. He’s holding a nuke while talking but he’s not swinging the same bat when he hit off a tee. The bat he’s swinging when it showed his exit velocity isn’t a BBCOR. It looks like an old BESR bat. Hence why I said it’s not an accurate representation because he’d probably be in the low 90’s if he used the stinger.
@@markelgod749 honestly the same stuff, also try to record yourself and get someone who knows what they are talking about to look at it. If you think your mechanics are good, try to just work harder with explosive movements.
Ya that’s a huge problem and his head movement is bad he moves his head so much probably why he can’t hit a slider or when a pitcher breaks eye line with the high low .. no way is he hitting a sharp slider
His channel is great. Definitely deserves more attention. I had no clue what HitTrax was prior to watching his vids.
Nice, you made him drop some major knowledge. Like Sonic dropping those golden rings.
Thank you for this video. Just saw Judge talking about engaging that back hip
Thanks for the help once again His mouth be trippin at 0:05 though
Great video, Coach.

Taco Boss you’re welcome
My goodness! Why isn't he playing anymore? This guy is still young. What happened?
D S Not sure why he stopped. I’ll have to ask.

It depends on the specific bats being used, but anywhere from 2-5 mph.
SluggerStark try it and let us know

What bat is he swinging during the velo demo? Looks like a 1995 aluminum Worth BESR.
Stinger Nuke

Hi, can i send someone a vid of me swinging and can y'all tell me what im doing wrong. My friends says it looks like I'm not trying but i am.
Have you been working on it recently?
He swings super hard
Just Some Guy without a Mustache god damnit there’s no way you watch baseball too
Me being happy with 76 mph at 15 😭
How to increase my speed from 87 to 95 in 2 month?Im 15 , 6.3", 190lbs.And im got nice technic.
Work on using your hips properly. Make sure there isn't any lunge in your swing. So an efficient weight shift.

It's literally called the Nowak swing, he just invented it for long drive. His game game is just perfect
