I thank my father buying that battlefield disc when I was 6 years old. It is the best best game I’ve ever played. Unfortunately, after some period of time, disc had some scratches that caused the game to hang after certain level. I ( 7 years old) was very sad when I realized I wasn’t able to progress to the next level because of scratches disc had. I would buy ps2 and this fucking amazing game if they are available on sale

don't get yourself fooled! it's the best BF experience to date - very fast paced and arcadey (hence the controls). and..... they just REVIVED the servers for the PS2 version!!
This game was way ahead of its time, the ideas were ahead of technology. It must have been made by veterans to be a "game" because of certain concepts. The sniping was fun, the recoil system was practical, the vehicle operating was realistic for a controller played game. Id love nothing more than a remake if this game with its original concepts.
To be honest, this was my first FPS shooter i ever owned on PS2. This shit was the best game i've ever played. The game was just so much fun. The campaign was difficult enough (for a 8 year old). Online was the place to be with wacky mechanics which were hard to master.. and the maps... Backstab, Bridge too far or coldfront.. Damn.. So many memories..

This game requires a lot of skill to play, please believe when you improve its totally rewarding.. The online game play was completely first class for its time nothing comes close to beating it so far, unfortunately the way they make games now I don't believe there will ever be anything as good.

I've never actually managed to finish a visual novel despite my best efforts, and even something like persona which is sort of a hybrid I couldn't push through. I won't say it's a hard no as I'm always open to trying new things, but I'll say Danganronpa is a low priority for now, but thanks for the suggestion :)

I remember it having a Bit Stress but ITS doable. later in my Life get Worldwide top Highscore places (3rd places 6th place ect.) in different games. So i guess that wasnt the average experience. And with 34 already i Wonder how i could get some reckords 9 years ago, because i already age to much do some thinks again. I even Challenge against a Real Life Fighter Pilot that Beats every he know and get Desperate in duels with my, because i win every Match in months.
I beat the last mission by using a glitch in the game. When enemies aren’t on screen the damage they cause you is much much less. Thus I would look at the floor while walking all the way to each objective. I went to the silo site on the right first. Then, from the position you parachute down on, went leftwards and hit the next silo site. Through repetition over a few hours I managed to find the perfect routes to take each time. (I played on Xbox 360)

I am in no position to comment on the multiplayer at the time and there is no way for me to play/review that element of the game. But this was by no means "incredible", especially for an Xbox360 title, the same year saw CoD3, GRAW, Just Cause, PREY and Lost Planet among others. Compared to these games BF2:MC leaves something to be desired. The conclusion of the review is that it's interesting and by no means terrible but it's showing its age and not in a graceful way like its contemporaries. Ultimately the review is an opinion, the game filtered through my own subjective biases coming from an extensive background of playing more games than I can count. But if you think this review was "trashing" BF:MC then boy howdy are you going to be surprised when I play an actually objectively bad game.

I played this on the first Xbox, even with Xbox live! The family couldn't run BF2 so as a teenager I was super excited to finally experience something close to it. All with a 128kbps ADSL connection on an island very far away from everything (yes the lag was horrendous).
Theres a story here the third ruins it though but there is a great message of theres no good side in war just a perspective of how each side sees each other
This was a great game i loved the campaign i didn't have the internet at the time so i just used to complete games. Play the campaign a couple of times then trade a game in for another. Good times.
I mean, the campaign is better than the race mode tbh, and I'm sure the multiplayer modes were good since it's battlefield. But yeah, the singleplayer content outside of the campaign is pretty lackluster
I did beat the final mission, but i do remember it being hell, and the fact that you have to do it twice for both "factions" was just torture. The bombs i could usually place but laserdesignating the enemy leaders "bunker" or something like that felt buggy as all hell since half the time your designator would get messed up by the enemy helos flying about.
My first battlefield game, that intro dropping into the first mission awesome. That last mission though...once I finally got to it, it was one heck of a mission and was happy I was able to make it through it. After many many attempts.
No game gets suppressors right, in real life suppressors without subsonic ammunition are really loud and do not sound like in any game or movie ( exept of some tactical/ sim games. I can say if you like classic battlefield gameplay ( i dont mean Battlefield 3, bad company or those games.. I mean battlefield vietnam, battlefield 2 and 1942) the game is the only game that brings the feal of thopse games in a campange (exapt of bad company 1 maybe). Yes the game has searius problems, but in this time battlefield was not like its today. Back then battlefield was a bit klunky, much much much slower, much much less health, no casual hp regeneration and based more on tactics then on dump rambogameplay like in the new battlefields. And Battlefield modern combat feals like the classic games just in singleplayer, but sadly the ai isnt the smartest, but still reacts more on the players actions then in todays campange. So if you like the classic games dont wanna mod so you can play them online again, or just doesnt have a pc anymore, the game is now on xbox one backwarts compatible. And you can buy it for 2$ so you do not loose anything for trying. And it was common for many games back then to not have aim assist and the aimassist today is just ludacris. And you have to use more of your brain , and not just have to run in a straight line, beeing handholded and treated like a braindead, just to see the next michale bane cutscene wich comes every 2 minutes and you cant control while its happening

I think the multi-player was the best part, although I actually like the campaign and usually pop it in from time to time because I played it when I was like 7. :P But I hope it gets remastered! I replayed the final mission several times, with all factions too, what really fucked me was the Plaza. I didn't know what I was supposed to do. The time I spent trying to figure out that mission was over 40 hours and that's only in the time I counted. I redid that shit over 150 times and I still couldn't figure out what to do. Then I went to the bathroom while there were no enemies around and forgot to pause. And my allies just won the game for me and I still didn't know what I did to win, so I had to redo it again Also, in ps2, there is a russian faction as well
@@shikikankillzone4239 Could have been multiplayer. I never played it. Wikipedia says it was China vs NATO aswell, with a third faction scamming them both to continue fighting. Atleast in the campaign
Ya single player was a joke on this game. Basicly just to teach you the controls for multiplayer. And man multiplayer is still my all time fav game by a mile. No other game since is anywhere close. I never even thought of that. BF2 was better because it didn't have auto aim. The controls were true to actual player skill. I am actually happy they turned the severs off for online play. It was so addictive I barely did anything else for years. I even had 3 tv's and sony's so my friends could play at same time. Kids today have no idea what they are missing.
To honest it felt weird probably because you are playing on Xbox. I played both Xbox and PS2 version. It's so easy to kill enemies in PS2 and although it is easy to die, you can actually played the entire level without dying. That's not the case in Xbox. Your character will start to move only half a second after pushing the joy stick to one direction. The shooting is weird in Xbox as well, while playing on PS2, as long as the grey circle covers the enemy on sight the enemies will take damage. In Xbox, you are required to shoot them right where they are which means if they are moving, the bullets will almost never touches them. Then again some might not like the PS2 version simply because the shooting, and damage taken by the enemies is very unrealistic although I did find it fun to gain non-stop killstreak in a single level. You don't have to play very risky if you are playing B2MC on PS2 but in Xbox the character movement and shooting makes you subconsciously wanting to get closer to the enemies just to get a kill, and that's why you kind of have to play recklessly. Anyway, that's just my version of the experience. Like your content btw, keep it up. Cheers.

Hello, I must say that your content is spectacular, you look at all the details, especially you talk about the battlefield genre, a genre that I love, what if you talk about Total Tank Simulator or Eximius, two games that are very worthwhile I hope your channel grow given your great content.
The game was amazing this kid has no idea but I'm pretty sure the server's are down now so I wouldn't buy it but I will say if they made a exact remake of this game I would support it I've been on Xbox live 15 years and to this day that game was one of the best if your a weak at fps then this game isn't for the trash lol
Seems like they didnt know that they were doing a console game, but were developing for pc. That lack of QoL is either lack of experience at the time, or tunnel vision. That matrix wooshing would be fun in other games if done correctly; wonder if anyone even remembers about this mechanic showing up in other games. Basically, it needed alot more polish, 2nd opinions, and playtesting. That "difficulty" ramp-up is stupid. How did they not think that having no actual medics was a good idea? If this ever gets "rebirthed", it needs alooot of cleaning and tweaking; or just yeet it to the modding gods and let them do that for you. It has some potential. The matrix gameplay alone has something going for it, you just need to leverage it. This has gone for long, so I sign off with an UwU rambling~
The final mission is beatable you’re just bad. If you think 10 minutes isn’t enough time, try playing the PS2 version. I beat that version multiple times and on that version it only gave you 5 minutes to destroy both silos.
That was because the PS2 version is much easier. I literally went head on, whereas in the 360 version, you have to sneak on the outskirts of the map to reach a silo. Also, the train in End of the Line is a bullet sponge in the 360 version. In the PS2 version, it almost never gets past the first MG. The 360 version is just broken.

The shooting is weird in Xbox as well, while playing on PS2, as long as the grey circle covers the enemy on sight the enemies will take damage. In Xbox, you are required to shoot them right where they are which means if they are moving, the bullets will almost never touches them. Then again some might not like the PS2 version simply because the shooting, and damage taken by the enemies is very unrealistic although I did find it fun to gain non-stop killstreak in a single level. You don't have to play very risky if you are playing B2MC on PS2 but in Xbox the character movement and shooting makes you subconsciously wanting to get closer to the enemies just to get a kill, and that's why you kind of have to play recklessly. Anyway, that's just my version of the experience. Like your content btw, keep it up. Cheers.

I played the crap out of this game. And most of the time, I didn't even know what I'm doing. But it was nice.....accept the last mission was hell.

If this was on PC,people might be revive the multiplayer as well,just like BF1942,BF Vietnam,BF2,and BF2142.
they revived it on ps2 now (you can also play it on your xbox series or pc via emulation with 4k and other features)
Seriusly...you never beat last mission phatetic....i luv this game since it my first fps game plus i beat this game when i was still middle school...beach party is not that hard...final mission...indeed hard but is not impossible to win it...i try this game again last year...and i win again....i though i may be rusty but nah...still got the kick of it...maybe you need to be avatar state to win the last mission....or you need to become like them(NPC) inorder to beat them...like old folks said an eyes for an eyes...Luv your vid man...thanks it remind of my childhood...

The game was amazing this kid has no idea but I'm pretty sure the server's are down now so I wouldn't buy it but I will say if they made a exact remake of this game I would support it I've been on Xbox live 15 years and to this day that game was one of the best if your a weak at fps then this game isn't for the trash lol

Seems like they didnt know that they were doing a console game, but were developing for pc. That lack of QoL is either lack of experience at the time, or tunnel vision.
That matrix wooshing would be fun in other games if done correctly; wonder if anyone even remembers about this mechanic showing up in other games.
Basically, it needed alot more polish, 2nd opinions, and playtesting. That "difficulty" ramp-up is stupid. How did they not think that having no actual medics was a good idea?
If this ever gets "rebirthed", it needs alooot of cleaning and tweaking; or just yeet it to the modding gods and let them do that for you. It has some potential. The matrix gameplay alone has something going for it, you just need to leverage it.

The final mission is beatable you’re just bad. If you think 10 minutes isn’t enough time, try playing the PS2 version. I beat that version multiple times and on that version it only gave you 5 minutes to destroy both silos.
That was because the PS2 version is much easier. I literally went head on, whereas in the 360 version, you have to sneak on the outskirts of the map to reach a silo.
Also, the train in End of the Line is a bullet sponge in the 360 version. In the PS2 version, it almost never gets past the first MG. The 360 version is just broken.
