Going to buy but the heat from the backpack for a serious days work is a concern. Might get the 300s x3 and holster
I own a small landscaping business and in the coming weeks I'm planning on making the switch from using all Stihl gasoline products to using all Stihl professional electric products. Its a costly switch but I believe long term I will be happier with the results and my clients will too. But Im wondering if I will be able to maintain an average of 15 lawns a week all off electric. Will the batteries last?
Yes we have some trimmers/blowers that that are 8 years old and still going strong
I have a KMA 130 R with AR3000 battery pack...last week, i cut almost 800 square meters of tall grass, almost 3 hours, before the battery switched off. So...go on...
And for prunning, we talk about many many hours....
It has 3 different stages, slow , fast , and very fast...so the battery will decrease depending on this.
Buy a KMA 130R, and you can put whatever tool you want.
how is the ar 3000 battery doing now dude? what value would you put on it as second hand?
I look at this paired with a Kombi System (plus attachments) and a 14" chainsaw as a good combo to have in the garage.
I would love to see the 130r used with the AP 300 S battery. I would like to see the longevity of a charge compared to a tank of gas. If it lasts as long as a tank of gas I am all in. We gas up our equipment at lunch. If I only had to switch batteries on each piece of equipment once per day that would be great!
Hey. I use the AP 300 S on the belt system. 20-35 minutes with a line trimmer attachment depending on the gear your in and how thick the grass is and how heavy the line is. I get 45min-60min on a tank of gas. But this is way lighter and quiet and clean.
You could use a backpack, or the stihl back pack. To hold your AP 300 S Battery and carry a spare. So you don’t run out.
Have had 45+ min running the three blade triangle metal brush blade on blackberries on a battery.
DUDE - you gotta go out and actually USE this on the heavier stuff before you offer speculations! smh, 15 mins and thats a review??

BT Carawan Don’t forget buddy, the reason electric’s will went out in the end is because all they need to do is keep improving innovating on the battery making it lighter faster and stronger
How do I charge my 1000 2000 3000 battery pack?
You put the connecting cable attached to the backpack battery into the AP battery connector and plug it into the regular AL Chargers.
