I think you have to put the battery on the plastic part, lower on the nylon battery strap

You can actually use the belt and jerryrig a cable for the battery to use it with different brand tools.

This product isn't well designed. It seems like it would be safer and more comfortable to just put that battery into a small backpack. Or (shudder) a fanny pack.

Am impressed by that electric chainsaw's performance. I think it would be interesting to give it a hydraulic mini transmission to multiply its torque so it doesn't get stuck like that and take full advantage of its RPMs.
