Hi there, in the specimen IGCSE paper candidates can receive full marks for the correct value without the currency included. Always best to include the $ sign though!
Thanks for the question! I've marked 1000's of papers and never had a student get 100%. Especially in paper 2 it's really difficult to meet all the criteria in a limited time, but of course it is possible in every exam.

the figure for the opening balance in march should be (380)as it is the closing balance of february

sir , in the question solving part... if y is (20) then how come net cash flow +opening balance =(400)
so if the net cash flow is -20 and the opening balance is -380 the closing balance will be -400
