Nightlife - GH5 + Metabones XL + Sigma Cine 18-35

A quick test for the 18-35mm Sigma Cinema Zoom that I got from BorrowLenses.com. The cinema zoom suffers from the same set backs as the photo version. Needing to press in the dial of the Metabones XL so the image will translate over to the camera.
Also, with the XL there's some vignetting that occurs at around 18-19mm and looks crazy with the IBIS.

I'm shooting on the 18-35mm sigma cine zoom this weekend with the metabones xl adapter also from BorrowLenses lol. Is there anything you can tell me before I begin shooting to prepare for when out in the field?

Kevin Best niiiiice! The main note I’d make is that the XL makes it a tiny bit larger than a S35 sensor. Meaning you may get vignetting when at 18&19mm (unless you’re cropping to 2.39:1). Also, I’d recommend (though it may be too late) to have a rail system to add a support to the lens. It’s really heavy and can stress the mounts.

Where was most of your ISO settings at with this?

Michael Lombardi I don’t exactly remember, but I’d say 800. I try to not go higher than that.
