At 3:25 you show pouring citric acid powder into the dispenser and state to use 3 tablespoons of it. There is no way that 3 tablespoons of citric acid powder will fit in that dispenser.

Hi! Regarding to your concern, because it's a strong acid, vinegar can break down the rubber gaskets and hoses in your dishwasher, eventually causing a costly breakdown. ^Nolito
@@LGUSASupport so why use white vinegar in auto mode as you say in the video and not machine clean mode as the manual says? Your guidance is directly contradictory to the LG Machine Clean Cycle support webpage which says “You can run the cycle using only water or add citric acid, white vinegar, or another cleaning agent that’s dishwasher safe for more effective results. Do not add detergent. Empty the unit of any dishware, then press and hold Heavy for 3 seconds to activate the Machine Clean.”
@@LGUSASupport I actually use citric acid and my question is really more why you aren’t using the machine clean cycle which clearly is what it’s for and is shown in your video as being available on that particular dishwasher you use in the video.

I received an email from LG, and it says, "your LG dishwasher is built to last." Mine only lasted 3 years before the 10-year motor started making a loud buzzing sound every time I use the dishwasher and it isn't cleaning as well as it used to. The catch with the 10-year motor is you have to pay a service technician to come out and take a look at your dishwasher and then you have to pay him to install the part. At this point you might as well buy a new dishwasher. It's disappointing that appliances don't last.
Hello there. We're sorry to hear that your LG Dishwasher has not lived up to your expectations and has started experiencing issues with the motor and cleaning performance. We understand that the 10-year motor warranty requires a service technician visit and part replacement, which can be inconvenient and costly. At LG, we pride ourselves on building durable and reliable appliances, but it's clear that we fell short in this case. We appreciate you sharing your experience with us and will take it as an opportunity to improve our products and services. -Ken

What happens if we use detergent
The detergent will just neutralize the vinegar so you're wasting you're time if you do that.
