Can ANY Boss Survive 50 Starved Dogs? - Elden Ring

- Опубліковано 16 чер 2024
- In this elden ring video I'm testing wheter any of the main bosses in the game can survive a pack of 50 starved dogs. For this test I chose the version of dog that is found in Caelid but that does not inflict rot buildup on bite as it would be too powerful. All dogs have the same tier and hp.
Battles:

0:35 Gideon Ofnir
1:10 Rykard
1:35 Godrick
2:10 Rennala

Gideon getting what he deserves every boss challenge
The one time he should have immediately casted law of causality.
I'm honestly kind of curious how well he'd do with his followers as a frontline meatshield that would let him spam spells safely. Ensha, Nepheli, and Henricus probably wouldn't be "that" good of a wall, but better than there being nothing between Gideon and an ass whooping.

@@yourforeignlocalthe gravitational attack
The Malenia one is super interesting. You'd think that she'd just get stunned and melted like all the other low poise, somewhat low health bosses before she has time to get her healing off. But her hurtbox is so small that only a few dogs can attack her at a time, so she ends up living through the stun and then cleans up like 40 dogs with a single Waterfowl Dance. Weird fight, not how I'd expect that one to go at all
One important factor: she can cancel her poise break stagger into another attack, even if she has bigger hurtbox it would still make not much difference.
I knew she'd win if she just got off one Waterfowl, or if the fight lasted to phase 2 with the big scarlet bloom AOE.
The Gideon fight was so realistic for its majority: just an old man at the wrong park

I mean technically it is the most powerful being in the universe being the vassal of the Greater Will possibly besides The Goddess of Rot.
Other outer gods could also rival that but their influence and power weren't exactly most direct except Greater Will and Goddes of Rot.
@@matiasluukkanen7718 Agreed. Although I do think that other Outer Gods /Goddesses can also be very powerful to challenge The Greater Will.
We fought only 2 beings who showed a portion of these Outer Gods's powers Elden Beast and Malenia after her 2nd bloom. Mohg wasn't channeling the power of the Formless Mother to its full potential (maybe) and whatever that was left of the Fell God's power wasn't strong enough.
I've beaten every boss in Elden Ring, yet 3 of these bastards coming at you at once is still the most terrifying thing in any Souls game.
I don't know about "any dark souls game". I think any misstep and falling to instant death is fairly terrifying. Especially when you can't see anything except giant skeleton eyes, or are in the water and can't tell where the deep part is, was fairly terrifying. Elden Ring doesn't have many ledges to darkness. Elden Ring if you had to fight everything on a 2 foot wide ledge, any misstep, any attack, any roll, any dodge, one slip up and you fall and die instantly. That's the Dark Souls I remember.
@@BrettonFerguson fuck those fights on thin beams or on an edge.
@@godfrey4461 Yes. But no way I'd say anything in Elden Ring is the most terrifying in any dark souls game.
Nothing like Tomb of giants first time without having read a walkthrough or seen a video. Or first time Sen's Fortress you "discover" the boulders rolling down at you. or New Londo trying to find the castle entrance and you get hit by an arrow and it knocks you off the ledge. Or DS2 you are fighting giants and dodging flaming death meteors and the head falls off the statue and insta kills you if your timing isn't right. Or the platforms that flip over and drop you in lava if you don't run down the middle.

Starved dogs are absolutely terrifying. I remember encountering them for the first time, and besides their odd appearance, their pure primal aggression was somehow realistic enough to kinda activate that predator-detecting fight or flight part of my brain. They did, indeed, act like starving dogs. And at their size, they would give you absolutely no quarter, unlike many other enemies in Elden Ring. Hell, even those hand abominations were more manageable than these. Of course, I did get pretty good at beating them while training myself, but damn, it's still hella stressful.
The barking at Placidusax while he was in the air, then swooping down and swiping, silencing the last annoying barks was incredible!
Malenia when she got staggered: "Call the ambulance, call the ambulance!"
Malenia when she jump for waterfowl dance: "But not for me!"
Until the dual wielded, pothead tarnished gets summoned that is
That seems to be a general theme in these boss vs. many weaker enemies videos. She gets stunlocked and bullied for 75% of the fight, and then a moment's pause comes and she gets an attack off, and boom, enemies are down to half their numbers and she's back at full health.
Bad bitch
@@stevenneiman1554 that, or she gets them with the big AOE in phase 2.
@@DBCOOPER888 Yeah. Kind of ironic given how Scarlet Aeonia is the reason why phase 2 is easier for a typical human, but it's a perfect example of how a lot of these fights are decided by the fact the enemies' AI isn't designed to deal with anything but players and legal summons.
Imagine being the Queen floating up there above the pack, watching them devour your servants from above, knowing that you're next.
Dude fortisaxx’s presence alone was way too strong 😮
Good to see Malenia use the I Win button for once
