Cameras bags are like vacuum cleaners - they suck everything in. Bigger bags suck more stuff and get stupid heavy, so I buy small bags to limit the weight. Bigger isn't always better. I currently use the Billingham Small Pro and it's damn near perfect.
Which type of
Can't beat Billinghams for build quality and durability. I've got a couple myself.
Hey Jim, I have a few Billingham bags and yes they are a much cleaner design and the next level up from Wotancraft. Which colour Small Pro do you have?
@@sputumtubewhich model Billingham bags do you have … A lot of people go for the Hadley Pro Small 😁
@@DarrylCarey My older one is a 335 and a more recent purchase was the much smaller L2 (I think that's what it's called)...
I had the large Billingham shoulder bag very similar to this bag . Honestly all the shoulder camera bag are the worst to wear all day with cameras and lenses . Very uncomfortable to walk all day with them , will hurt your shoulder/ neck , get a good backpack camera like peak design will save your day . Never recommend shoulder bag unless you only cary one Leica M camera and 2 M lens , any more than 3kg is bad for you, you will get tired shoulder / neck at the end of the day .
I think people overload shoulder bags, we have all done it 😊. Part of the reason I like shooting with Leica M cameras is the size of the bodies and lenses, but if I’m carrying more than that I will be using a backpack. I have the Billingham Hadley ONE, which is my favourite bag, just purchased a special edition Billingham Hadley Pro from RED DOT Camera in the UK. You can see the cool design of the bag in the thumbnail of the Leica battery test.
Very nice bag, but I have always stuck to Billingham, although their prices like anything else made in the UK, have gone through the roof in the last two or three years. Recently I have taken a real liking to the Think Tank shoulder bags. I have a couple of them and they are really nice for Leica M system, not cheap thogh.
Yep, nice bag.
I have the older version of the scout ,but I use the trooper more as my regular camera bag, I also have the Ryker ,but find it a bit small and heavy for my liking
Great video as always
It’s a shame Wotancraft have stopped making the Ryder and Trooper, would be nice to see an updated version of them😉 Yes the Ryder was a little on the heavy side and was not a big fan of the metal zip 😮
I also found with the Ryker ,that the flap in the back section of the inside kept catching on the camera as you pulled it out and stopped the dividers fitting properly , I had to tuck it in , which defeats the object , it was a shame because it was the wotancraft bag I'd always wanted and hardly ever used
Are you going to make the video on the scanner company? I’m really interested in it. :)
I have 2 new scanners to review, which will be coming soon
How often did you use it over the last 18 months. It looks new to me.
Nice!
Thanks!
@Darryl, I wonder if the additional loop on the right side of the bag is meant to make it easier to carry it messenger-style (with the strap across the chest)?
Definitely a nice looking and practical bag but I couldn't justify nearly $500 NZ dollars out of my pension!
Hey Yorkie, yes they are a little bit on the pricey side but it will last a long time 😉
If you review bag, it is better to show how it is looked when you are wearing it. It could give picture to us how big it is.
