I’ve been practicing the lifting one leg while standing on the other and the shifting my weight from one leg to the other while standing still drills. On the carpeted floor though. I’m not even close to taking it outside. Had 2 big falls on Friday so my weight transfer needs ALOT of work.
Oh no, I'm so sorry to hear about your big falls! But that is AWESOME to hear that you are taking the time to build up weight transfer / step in place practice.
This is something I will need to practice A LOT off skates first. But it's good to have some things I can do to try and help build my confidence when attempting to skate outdoors again. So thank you! 🥰🛼🛼
