Whitney Houston’s voice is so crystal clear. It comes out so easily where it seems she doesn’t even have to try to sing it loud. Her voice is so powerful as soon as she opens her mouth you can hear it full blown. The other singers have to truly give it their all and scream to get their voices out and she can do it so easily. Look how hard the others are tying to hit those loud notes and she can do it so easily it looks like she doesn’t have to try that hard.

Whitney Houston’s voice is so crystal clear. It comes out so easily where it seems she doesn’t even have to try to sing it loud. Her voice is so powerful as soon as she opens her mouth you can hear it full blown. The other singers have to truly give it their all and scream to get their voices out and she can do it so easily. Look how hard the others are tying to hit those loud notes and she can do it so easily it looks like she doesn’t have to try that hard.
Celine had a relaxed face when hilting those notes.

All three of them sang the national anthem in their own unique ways. Mariah’s was so unique and creative! It was so soothing and calm, and even though she did so many runs she still maintained the integrity of the song. That’s what top notch musicality is. Celine’s version was so raw and powerful. No backup of anything, and her belts were incredible. Whitney’s version gave me chills, wow so powerful! I love all three of them so much!!
I can't do what either of these talented women can do. They were all great... but when I hear Whitney's voice sing "and the rockets red glare" with so much power and purity of tone... I get emotional every time.
