Great list of tips. #4 was helpful especially with getting into the water over those New England rocks and outcrops. Need your hands to steady yourself getting into the water. Thanks!
My top tip: Don't listen TOO much to people in the internet, just get out there and dive and work out what works for YOU! Ok, a bit ironic on an internet you-tube video called "top tips" but the spirit of what i mean is important, namely, find what works for you, and don't worry too much if anyone else says" don't do it like that"...... :-)
When long deco stops happens, yes strolling around would be nice but, sometimes there are situations where you better not. When ascending some deeper, longer dives, I rather stay still to help myself maintaining exactly the indicated deco depths, find the right buoyancy and relax. Then when there seems to be nothing else to do or check, I personally pull out from a pocket my own plastified literature. I own "first aid techniques" but I have also "Marine pictolife" or credit card sized things like "vitamins and their uses" etc. If you are diving with someone, you can share your reads, use tablets or, even better, use an Aquasketch minno to chat about the dive. 😉
#askmark Hello Mark, Hi Shaun. This is Mikołaj from Poland. I would like to ask about your opinion about Hollis equipment, especially the DCX first stage and 200lx 2nd as a regulator set. This is what I bought for our cold polish waters, it was supposed to be a great regulator for these conditions, however it froze underwater 3 times recently. I am taking my first breath underwater. Thanks for your videos and sorry for long question:) have a good one
Great tips, thanks for sharing them! Do you guys know how to behave around SHARKS?! 😱 ACCEPT THE CHALLENGE AND TAKE THIS QUIZ TO FIND OUT! 😉 ua-cam.com/video/RS6QLlbolgQ/v-deo.html

Isn't this method of using the SPG bolt snap (at 8:00) bad for the SPG hose as it weighs and stress it?

I've never forgot my weights but, one time I almost forgot to turn on my air. Almost.

That single-ended bolt-snap has moved back onto your toolbox again - or was this bit recorded ages ago? :-)
probably not as he's using the # for questions, that's only been a thing for a few weeks
Just don't ask anything in the scuba divers uncensored FB group unless you want a ton of abuse and complaints about splitfins
Did you say Shearwater ? 😂😂😂
Maybeeee
Cheers Marc
Always check and tighten your weight belt, mine has once loosen and I shoot all the way up 😐
Tip for myself: Watch your depth when using your camera
