In Colombia we put everything in a blender with cold milk and serve it cold and frothy. Come to think of it, I haven't had it since I was a kid!

Milo is my fav energy drink in the morning all time! That rich texture and taste of chocolate is so good! But, no need extra sugar as it already sweeten.

In New Zealand everyone drinks this! There are whole isles of milo in some grocery stores. We never add sugar though! It's definetly sweet enough as is.

In my country, they sell different milo: just milo itself, milo with sugar and milo with both milk powder and sugar. For most of the time, we would get the one with milk powder and sugar so that simply adding hot water into the mixture can do.

Some of the milos in certain asian countries use mainly hot water, then we mix it with condensed sweetened milk

OMG finally the "Thirsty For" videos are back in Tastemade~!!! I've watched all of them since I was a kid & found all of them very satisfying to watch. It wasn't until a few years passed, I couldn't find at least one single "Thirsty For" drink video.
But now, I'm so happy all the videos are back. THANK YOUUU~!!!! XD

OMG this is classic Singapore drinks at the kopi tiam (sort of corner coffee shop). So good and oh so bad for the waist line. They have Horlicks (straight up malt) variants which are just as good.

Take it from the Australian, put in 3-infinity tabletspoons of milo into a large cup (the bigger the better) pour in milk till a cm from the top, stir that shit like youre making a tornado, once its like a milo froth on top, put another 3-infinity tablespoons on top, sort of push around the top of the milo so it has some milk in it, eat the milo off with a spoon, once gone, add more milo, repeat until desired, then scull that milo milk till its all gone. Or... put milo on top of ice cream

By the way, add cold milk, not hot milk

I live in Singapore and Milo is a literally a necessity to kids, we usually just pour hot water, a few tablespoons of milo and sweetened condensed milk, and we can get so creative with milo and sweetened condensed milk. The memories.

In my experience (and I have experimented A LOT with milo!) I find using condensed milk works really well, and brings out the uniquely rich, malty, chocolate-y flavour of milo that you don't really find in other instant powdered chocolate drinks. :)
Fresh milk is fine, but using that as the main liquid ingredient I think gives it a more 'hot chocolate/cocoa' sort of 'boiled milk' taste. It's good if you just want a malty hot chocolate though! Condensed milk on the other hand has a bit more of a 'honey/caramel' flavour and this added caramelly sweetness doesn't just make the drink taste milky/creamy, but makes it really malty and that tiny bit sweeter (kind of like liquid milky Maltesers!).
Just substitute the warmed milk with condensed milk and hot water - add extra sugar/milk (fresh or whatever) to taste and you have the perfect cup IMO :D
The condensed milk method I think is the best for iced milo too!

They sell Milo at my local Publix and I enjoy drinking it to this day. I don't do it all that often, but a glass of cold milk with a couple teaspoons of the stuff goes down great-no extra sugar required!
I always loved stirring the milk only slightly so the Milo wouldn't completely disintegrate. It tastes strangely good when wet and crunchy.
Thanks for the video. I may well give this a try soon!

How to make the best milo (from am Aussie):
    2 heaped tablespoons of milo.
Little bit of milk just to cover milo.
    Make into a paste
    Add ice cream.
    Top with more milk.
    Add more milo.
Done. It's more a meal than drink Haha!
When you added sugar I nearly yelled at my phone! Totally sweet enough without. But yet again I grew up on milo.
Milo is also great just over ice cream. And in smoothies with banana and yogurt!
