Yes, in California if you have a front yard they only landscape the front yard but the backyard is just going to be a patch of dirt. It’s nice because you get to design it and get it done but the downside is a lot of people don’t know that and don’t plan for it.

Congratulations Alyssa!!! I'm so happy for you. You gave excellent tips. I had my first home built when I was 27. You definitely have to go check on the progress almost daily because the builder will attempt to sneak changes you didn't agree for the build. I also love the written scripture and messages on the 2x4s. Getting a third party inspection great tip. Love the content and video. Very proud of you!!!!!

I used Lennar and did not like my process and lack of communication so I was only asking because the weekly check in was something I would appreciate the next time I buy. I like that standard. I'm seeing a trend of young UA-camrs buying homes right now thinking they're poppin but the market just couldn't be worse to buy, guys. People get carried away and make big mistakes they don't know they did until way later. If you can, please research long and hard before buying any homes right now. The time to buy is coming but it's not now. And UA-camrs gotta be smarter than to keep showing their entire home to millions of strangers. There have been literally so many cases of burglary to UA-camrs homes. Please please please don't follow the hype of doing that either.
