Brilliant job. Looks great. I have one of those Stihl hedge cutters and I bought the extension shaft. Brilliant machine. Also be careful. I always wear safety glasses because it only takes a second to put them on and only takes a second to lose your eyesight. Take care and stay safe.
Great job. I've just subscribed to your channel and I'm really enjoying it. I've been a gardener for almost 7 years and I hope you don't mind me giving you a couple of little tips. Get some tarpaulins and lay them under the hedge as you cut, it'll catch nearly all the bits and you just roll it up and tip it in the bin/bag. Only a minimum to sweep up then. I've also got a uniform, for two reasons really. 1. I don't have to think about what i'm going to wear and ruin my clothes, plus you can claim on the tax. 2. It also sets you apart from the people who just chop things up for a living. Looking forward to your next video.
Hi there, thanks for subscribing! Glad you're enjoying the videos. This is my work waterproof jacket in this video, and I've just got a uniform all embroidered ready to go for the new season, so I'll look a lot better! Also getting the van sign written. I usually have this long scaffold net thing I use, can't quite remember why I didn't use it here 😆
i have bulging disk and my back hurst. i have 500m of hedges the same sort like you have it in video. So now i dont know witch trimmer should i buy yours HLA56 or HSA 56 .. i think this HLA 56 is better for handling, but im now sure. What do you think ?
@@TheGreyGardener1990 yea it’s a full time job keeping the gear up together service and repairs I’ve just brought a Stihl blower and hedge cutter and a Honda presure washer need to get some money back now just need some jobs to pay up
If I was younger, I would probably switch to battery, but at the end of the day, the person using the tool is far more important than the tool itself! Give the best tool in the world to an idiot, you'll get a shit job!
Fair enough. I'm hoping to have both in time. I just wanted something lightweight that will work work as soon as I pressed the button. Less power though granted so I wouldn't be doing any big reductions with it. Love it though

Thanks mate. Yeah I need to be better with my safety glasses to be fair. Always when strimming but usually forget whilst hedge trimming 😬
I bought the exact same trimmer after your advice! its never let me down as yet! in my first year and all going well!
Good stuff mate, glad it's going well
Thats a great job, liked the finish was a big round box hedge, The cutters looked as though they breezed through it. Keep up the good work.
Cheers mate. Yeah, theyre pretty decent hedge trimmers.
great job
This machine is a beast.

Is this shape of trimer better than normal trimers, i mean this trimer is for heights, tnx for answer, Miha
Depends what you define a normal trimmer to be really mate
@@TheGreyGardener1990 Lets say normal trimmer would be somethink like STIHL HSA 56

@mihakocjan3602 if they're tall I'd go for this one as it will be easier to do the top.
@@TheGreyGardener1990 hadges are big 185cm.. im planing exacly for trimming on the top yes.
my wife needs her bush trimming 🤭
😬
How long did it take to clean up and bag?
About 20 minutes
Are they a lot lighter than petrol mate? How long did that job take and did you take waste away? Cheers mate.
I'd say so yeah. Took a couple of hours if I remember rightly and customer dealt with waste, I just bagged it up for them.
Great job love really good 👍was that this week? 👍

why dont you set up your cgarger in the van and get a jackery too use too charge it. its worth it in the long run
I've got 2 batteries for it which lasts me all day to be fair.
I'll end up with a petrol trimmer eventually I think
