winds from the northern hemisphere and winds fron the southern hemisphere come towards equator and take right and left turn respectively due to coroillis force is called ferrel's law

During monsoon ,there is NE and SW wind. But ITCZ converge trade wind NE and SE.What actually is trade wind ?How it differs from monsoon wind?

Coming to your query, Yes the EL NINO has considerable impact on the ITCZ as it shifts towards the south (due to weakening of the Low Pressure) leading to droughts in India during El Nino. La Nina is the re-strengthening of the original conditions after El Nino & hence, the ITCZ would shift back to it's original position over North India. Hope that helped. Keep learning.

My doubt is when south eastern wind cross equator region and turn to right hand side then will these itcz winds converge with north eastern itcz face to face??
