This is Alex's first time watching Dragon ball Z & Kyle has not seen the BUU saga! Bryan & Elvin has the seen show and will be joining the journey with Alex to get his reaction!
Dragon Ball Z is about a man named Goku that lives on earth and finds out he came from a different planet and doesn't know how powerful he is until villains from other planets come along.

@@LilDiabetusIt did to a degree, but it also gives him more character. The point here is that he finally learned how to be a good person, he went through much in the buu saga trying to better Goku, so here he admited that in the full picture he was better, that doean't change that they are rivals. Even tho it's not that good writing, you can make an argument that the new info about the universe and cosmos gave him more motivation, alongside trying to keep himself close to his rival that kept him alive for the majority of the series, as he admited in ROF. So, even though it does kinda feel cheap in many cases, you can make some arguments that make sense. BUT, the major thing in super that I enjoy is him saving the namekians, feeling empathy and regret, fighting with the past and what he had done, then speaking with Beerus about it later. That right there continues his story showing that this moment here truly changed him for the better, he still wants to challenge Goku in power, but it's still not the same as it was here.
"You're better than me Kakarot, you are the best!" That is some character development!

@@dc07932 never giving up is one thing even GT's Vegeta still wanted and tried to be stronger than Goku, but in Super he just complains and cries about it even more than he did in Z and I mean actually whining not just annoyed by it

Seeing all the villains in Hell is such a nice touch to me and whether it's canon or not, it's a good representation of how far Goku has truly gone considering all of them were in absolute shock in the fight they were witnessing

@@grydon6422it’s canon to the anime. Just because it’s not in the manga doesn’t mean it’s not canon. The anime has its own canon, the old movies have their own canon, db super is basically it’s own canon since it doesn’t really fit into the story the way the say it does. All of it is canon- it exists. To say it correlates to whatever iteration you’re experiencing, whether it’s the anime, or manga, they are both canon in their own respects.
@@AnonymousSaiyanif everything's canon than nothing is canon. When something has this many variations than just try and keep on aspect together. Personally, I can't stand when DBZ fans finally go back to OG DB and try and say everything retroactively changes though. It disregards that OG DB is inspired, mostly, by Journey to the West.

I saw "Veteta's Respect" in the title and freaked..but i was at work lol...so had to wait ALL day to watch it...well worth it...one of my fav vegeta episodes forsure!
Definitely one of my favorites episodes and I loved seeing the villains they defeated watching the fight in hell and Vegeta showing respect to his rival and comrade Kakarot was amazing as always

This fight doesn't happen in the manga, Goku and Vegeta don't hand off until Goku starts trying to power up to max to destroy Buu
That part happens later in the anime
Goku never passes out like that in the anime, so Vegeta doesn’t have this extra turn in the manga. But, Vegeta tries to fight Kid Buu in base even in the manga, while buying time for Goku at the end.

All the villains on hell, i got the exact reaction i expected from all of them. Cell still looking good and to think about it he was actually slightly stronger then goku during his battle and he did gave up, Frieza here being salty about getting sliced (by his own attack and then trunks)😂 Doesn't even realize The one who killed him was none other then Vegeta's Son (double L) The fight choreography was very good from episode and you can see the animation its just great and its one of my favorite fights. One thing tho Vegeta (how did he took some damage just by the collision of those 2 power up) and the energy exhaustion (non-super saiyen) Man they really wanted to give him the least time here and the Commentry of the kai, "vegeta is not able to land a single blow". Just great while everyone is watching that DAMIT but it did gave us the *Angelic vegeta* hes quite known like that for this scene since with an halo 😇 and the personality especially positivity towards goku. Still very great episode And we are getting close to the finale lets goooo.

Goku is strong but he is also soft, that's how he achieves things before Vegeta. And on other hand Vegeta is strong but he have also pride because he is a Prince. I don't know if you understand me, he is soft and kind but in a deep way and not everyone understands this...
Let's see Vegeta when he achieves something he always surpasses Goku, when he managed to become super sayian he was stronger than Goku... or look at the first fight Vegeta vs Goku. Vegeta was stronger than him, but Goku wasn't alone he got company while Vegeta was alone by himself and the fight didn't end yet.
And look also at Majin Vegeta vs Goku, everyone will say that Goku will win if he used super sayian 3 yes... but when Goku uses this form he need to lose a lot of energy and he will be tired soon in a short time and he will end up down and Vegeta is unstopable warrior he never gives up even if he loses his energy he will get up again and again, in my way Vegeta could win this fight just like the first fight he was fighting with Goku than with Gohan... Krilin and also the man with the 🗡 was there. Vegeta was unstopable he could win to that fight but he got tired in the end because it was 4 vs 1 if you ubderstand.
Goku achieves something if something bad happens to him (like a friend is killed) or if he gets angry. And also Goku asks for help of others... no hate to Goku but Vegeta never asks anybody for help you know too.
Vegeta achieves something because he want to become stronger... and when he achieves something he always surpass Goku by his new form or skill, imagine if Vegeta loses someone or gets angry just imagine what he can do.
What i want to say is that Vegeta and Goku qre equally strong, (i like both of them) but there Vegeta is showing respect to Goku, that he is a softer character than Vegeta himself. While Vegeta is wilder character (that's how it looks like from outside... or that's how some want to know) but inside he is soft, kind but not all will understand this. Sometimes i feel like even Toriyama can't understand Vegeta 🫤.

Never liked how Toei kept Vegeta in his base form and basically had him looking like a amateur fighting Buu here. Like if SSJ3 can barely keep up with Buu then why the hell would Vegeta stay in his base form? It make absolutely no sense, just make him look bad.
That's what is bothering you. Gohan getting killed along with earth while he could have easily handled kid buu. Just for Goku and Vegeta to get more development.

@nemesisop8903 it depends on how many times Kid Buu can regenerate after Gohan blows him up. Genki-dama was the only thing that seemed to be a permanent fix.
Buu Saga is a mixed bag becus for hype moment (ex. Vegeta's sacrifice, ss3, Vegito) there's a missed opportunity with side characters.
(Ex. Why bring Tien back at all if he's not going to do anything significant like he did in cell saga)
The most irritating part is that why is vegeta fighting in base form? It makes no sense

I guess he was out of gas. Remember, they were fighting for a long time with only a few breaks in between with no sleep and food. Goku's cardio must have been far better.

There isn’t really. While I do agree the Buu Saga is the weakest of Z, I don’t think there’s any plot holes in it, tell me if I’m wrong.
@@LilDiabetus Gohan right now is stronger than Super Buu and Super Buu is stronger than Kid Buu so realistically nobody should be scared about Buu right now. The rest are very minor or just bad dubbing issues, but the Gohan one is way too ridiculous to ignore once you notice it.

rewatching this, SS3 Goku barely lasted a few mins with Kid Buu. I dont think he ever had a chance to defeat Kid Buu.
Especially the fact that Kid Buu effortlessly defeated Goku and Vegeta Twice and Fat Buu
They cant fuse at this point with the fusion dance because Vegeta doesnt know how to do the fusion dance at this time . Gogeta wasnt never actually apart of the story . He was just a movie character that was non canon . Wait till yall make it to DB Super .

While sick(and I’m glad it’s there), the scene in hell and other scenes in hell are anime only non canon. As the show itself went over recently with Vegeta, not everyone gets to keep their body after death, and especially not the evil.
The buu saga is considered the worst saga in Dbz, and while I do like the frieza saga and cell saga more, it is so grossly underated it makes me sad, it has its fair share of problems, but honestly Dbz is a hot mess starting all the way back in the raditz saga, rules for fighting are always inconsistent with each saga. The tanking gaps make no sense, and honestly even the official power levels up to friezas final form are just illogical. None the less I love the buu saga despites is immeasurable flaws, i.e. how strong is fusion? is gotenks stronger than goku? how strong are the fucking base sayians? is android 18 base sayian level or ssj level (against trunks and goten) is Dabura super perfect cell level or just ssj goku cell games level? it is never answered efficiently without some contradictions in this saga, but none the less the buu saga is a timeless saga and the build up to buu, and the shit he pulled is unrivaled by frieza or cell. I love this fight for the sheer fact that it is like goku vs frieza all over again but reversed. Now Goku is acting irrationally, he could fuse, and could of kept his potara to win, but he has so much sayian pride (Yes goku is just as prideful as Vegeta) that he's willing to suffer defeat not knowing ssj3 will give him victory, all to test his true power. Buu however knows he can win if he really wants to, he has no consequences in this fight. Frieza could of blown up the planet, instead he chose to fight for his five minutes of survival with an inferior power level at 100% not being able to control his power. the roles are reversed with Goku doing the same thing in this case but with ssj3. But Vegetas speech at the end is mesmerizing, and Buu is a masteredly unpredictable villain out of the mind of Toriama
This spectator part isn't canon, Frieza had no idea about the fight with Majin Buu...also they wouldn't have their bodies in Hell

then super comes and messes all the character development, shits on powerscaling and messes with the whole cast of characters making all behave so out of character, plus the animation fighting choreography everything is just trash.
I wish that hell scene was canon, still great to see
