One of my top 5 favorites. It’s a banger! Agree, not for beginners. It took a few wears before I fell in love. I searched for months and months before I found a bottle was reasonable. True 🦄!!!
I remember sampling this one about a year after it's release and it was too 'old school' for me and I passed right over it... Hind sight is 20/20 and tastes change... Oh how I look back at my younger self with shame and distain... >_< I really wish I had a bottle of this one now...Awesome fragrance and video as always Marc...
Spot on review Marc! I remember scorring a bottle of Moss Breches in 2012 long after it had beed discontinued and i was blown away by how well made it was. It was spring time so it has become my late April~beginning of May scent ever since. Wish it was still around in its honey beeswax glory to bring happiness to us fragrance connoisseurs :)
Nice to see this video, I've been on the hunt for it, but it can't be found except for one at the moment, the price is one thing but the bottle is also damaged. If you can review them, pls review Japon Noir and the rarest of them all Bois Rouge.
Awesome stuff Marc! Thanks for this one! Definitely has my interest peaked! Wouldn't mind selling off a few to score something like this down the road! Definitely going to sample though, love beeswax, honey, hay, and that whole old world autumnal aesthetic and the beeswax accord in penhaligons as well. The part that got me hooked was the way you described the benzoin adding the ambery glow and lemony and caramel without being too sweet. Just sounds so amazing. Have a great rest of the weekend, Marc!
Amazing fragrance, I really wish I had it in my collection but when it was available for sale, my olfactory maturity was on a completely different level than now 😬 Great video Marc.
I'm just happy to have a couple of solid decants of this unique juice. For reference. And I'm happy with that... Spot on review. If i were to come across a bottle at a good price I'd have to honestly ask myself am i buying it for the love of it or because it's a nice collection piece to brag on having 🤔. ✌🏻
I remember when I started my collecting in 2010/2011 and Moss Breches was hard to find and might’ve been discontinued by then. I don’t think I’ve even sampled this one and I own maybe 30 TF bottles and I thought I smelled all of them.
These are the kinds of scents clone brands should be after. May take them years to really nail the closeness, but at least those who couldn't smell the original would have an opportunity to experience at least some of the goodness. 🐝
Having just watched this review, the penny has dropped on a fragrance I purchased last year by Insider Parfums, called Mossy Bridges! It clearly took its inspiration from the TF original, using the same blend of notes.
I have a clone of this just as reference to the basic scent profile. Very artsy "shelf art". Wearability is highly questionable for me. Very astringent bitter moss effect. And very interesting.
Beeswax and Honey are not my thing, I struggle specially with Honey, I'm more into Maple Syrup, maybe as I smell more I will learn to appreciate these notes. Good to know about this one, curious to try. Thanks for the detailed Samplin" Marc!!!
moss breches along with bois rouge, japon noir, and purple patchouli that came out in 2007 are virtually impossible to find and if you can find it, it will cost you an arm and a leg to get it.
Exactly if its the same guy who is selling it he is nuts. The way he presented the bottle is nasty, his grubby nails and the chipped bottle, I was going to make an offer but I'll pass.
The dry down on this is phenomenal

What a great find! 👍 😮
Thanks for the review. Saw a bottle on eBay for sale; ouch.
ouch is right lol
Friend just gave me a bottle of this , omg it’s amazing!!!
gave? that's a nice gift
Moss Breche sounds gorgeous, is it true that it kind of smells like petrichor or like the rain?
hmm, I don't think I got that but I'll need to revisit.

Insider Perfumes does this. I hear very good things.
@@mikio6444 I'll check them out! Thank you!

Discontinued I think

Great review and I enjoyed it and I'm going to try it and have a blessed day

100% , still looking for that Purple Patch.
Mossy Bridges is slightly better to my nose. Stuff like this happens more often than it seems, and pricing is never indicative.
So, I have known of your channel since 2017. I have never asked. I might as well. What does Robes08 mean? You are never wearing any robes. Thanks.
did you want me to wear a robe?
@@robes08 Come on! Why do you call yourself robes?
A stunning flex.
You are going to take about 2 or 3 out of your mortgage.
5 years later...
You are going to take 10 mortgage out of your pay.
$2,450 on Ebay!! No thanks
It was marked down from $3,500 though. You're actually getting a deal 😂😂😂

Yo Robes is back? Finally 🥲
