for me the aio won't appear in lighting. already tried with different software versions and no luck. the screen does turn on and it is displaying the temperature
Question: I installed this exact CPU cooler and instead of having the tubes come out from the bottom (like you do on yours), mine are coming out from the right side, so the USB port on the CPU header is facing down. When my PC is on, I can rotate the screen to the correct adjustment just as you showed in this video; However, when my PC is off, the CPU screen still shows CPU temperature BUT the screen is upside down. When PC is turned on, its the correct rotation, but off its upside down. My question: Is there a way to adjust the screens rotation when the PC is off?
Hey there, no guarantee to this, just my own observation since I just finished my new build yesterday and used the same AIO. The screen rotation is based on the TT RGB PLUS software. Since this software only is launched when your pc is up and running, it won't have any effect on the display, when the pc is off. The only way I could think of is using a thermaltake controller which might save configurations which would result into it not relying on the software.
@@PokeKrack Hey Poke, thanks for responding actually! I did my own build myself also and have 0 PC experience or knowledge. After I posted this, I messed with setting for a while. In short, you actually have to go into the softwares settings, and there is a setting for idle and boot up screen setting where you can adjust this when the PC is off or ‘idle’. I will say tho, the software is kind of ‘clunky’ to say the least. Feels like the software works but “is hanging on by a thread” per say.
Just as a note, the radiator-pump orientation shown in the case is sub-optimal. Check out Gamer-Nexus on proper orientation. Either should be a top mounted radiator, or at least tubes down (on radiator) with the reservoir tank above the pump. Loved everything else in the guide though.
the important thing is that the pump isn't at the highest point relative to the rest of the radiator, so it's not an issue in this case - worst you can get in this config is slightly more pump noise, but that's dependent on AIO and doesn't apply universally either (going for tube-down arrangement with vertical radiator is very difficult in most cases anyway due to GPU).
how do you control the fan speed for this thing? It lacks the usual fan management options in the software when connected. Guess it's because it doesn't use any extra controller but then how TF do you do it?
Hello, just bought the th420 ultra but dont know how to change fan speed and rgb lightning from tt rgb plus (ps: i have 3 quad ring fans but for those i have a controller and works perfectly with tt rgb plus app)
i just got one of these aio coolers and mine did not come with a usb on the side of the screen and im having issues with mine connecting if anyone could help or knows anything let me know
I wish you showed how to daisy chain the fans more clearly, It is difficult to tell what you are doing which fan will connect to the motherboard, and which end will connect to the intakes on the front of the case.
When you daisy chain fans, which one runs to the motherboard doesn't really matter. It'll depend mostly on how you want your wiring routed. Through the top fan or bottom. Depends on case and mounting locations.
It doesn’t matter, as long as the pump itself isn’t the highest point. It’s better for them to be down but if there’s no space then being up won’t kill the AIO.
WHY ?? WHY the black USB cable ?
I believe that’s if you have a digital version or cpu cooler
@@retrogamer1007I think he means why is it not white, since it part of the white aoi kit
Yes. That's the reason I'm not buying it.
why my th360 not recongized it?
Thanks! I just got one and your instructions look clear and helpful!
With the upload file option for the AIO, do you think over time images would burn into the screen?
Haven't used it long enough to confirm but haven't heard reports of this
I just wish there is an option to adjust size of the font of the info when having a gif upload. Its just too small...
Hello,
can you put lian li 140 fan on this watercooling?
Fantastic Chris, Thank you
No worries! Enjoyed putting it together
@thermaltakeuk can you have your people fix the bugs with this garbage software so we can use this thing?

Isn't your block inverted tho? The tubes are supposed to come ideally from the left side

@@synnatax pretty sure ur right
Through your motherboard bios usually. Same as most processor fans.

Not sure if you’ve figured it out but entering your bios and should allow you to adjust fan speeds
My usb cable has 2 usb sides? And... what header am i supposed to plug it into.
does it show both cpu and gpu temparature at same screen at the same time ?
I don't have the Ultra 2.1 LCD option when I click on LIGHTING. Would anyone know what I did wrong?
I have a question can u change fan rgb to solid red color?
Were u able to get it to work? Im thinking about buying this AIO but some ppl seem to have the same issue as you.
It worked once, then never again! I think its bugged.@@rigbyyy2204
@@Olaf_guy you have to go into the bios and changing the color in the RGB settings
How do you control the pump speed and the fans ? Via bios and Mainboard software ?
Does not seem to be controllable. I have tried everything.

When was this item released please
j'ai le même model malheureusement le gif s'enlève au bout de 10 minutes et j'ai limage de veille avez vous déjà rencontrer ce problème ??
thank you
do i need Thermal paste for this?
Yeah

is it the same bracade for AM4 processors also ???
No, the am4 has a different bracket. It will be in the kit. As will a diagram showing which bracket goes to which processor
Front mounted radiators need to have the hoses running from the bottom and not from the top.

Software is a katastroph ! ! Rubbish
setting up my 10 lian li fansa was cleaner and easier to setup . not saying this is bad but not as good
okay???
