    Totally blown away by this inexpensive AIO, first time running Cinebench R23 on the Ryzen 7 7700X stock and NOT hitting thermal max of 95c! That really means this thing is cooling faster than anything else we have ever tested here!
    And would you believe it, we had the 7700X Running all core loads as low as 63.8c Holy moly!
    The TH V2 ARGB Sync AIO Liquid Cooler series is the next generation model of TH Series AIO, constructed with a rotatable infinity-mirror lighting top lid and CT120 / CT140 ARGB Sync fans which run up to 2000 / 1800 RPM. Additionally, it comes with a brand-new slim radiator with a 460mm tube length for optimised chassis compatibility. This product is compatible with 5V Motherboard Sync software for lighting control. And best of all doesn't cost a small fortune!

    Cooler is great... LCD screen is nice... Software/Drivers are buggy... Have one brand new and have yet to get the LCD screen to be recognized. Got it once, for about 5 seconds, by plugging a USB to microUSB from the back of the mobo (B550 Tomahawk Max wifi) into the screen, but it stopped just after. Still haven't figured it out.

    420, 4:20 or 4/20 (pronounced four-twenty) is cannabis culture slang for marijuana and hashish consumption, especially smoking around the time 4:20 pm (16:20). It also refers to cannabis-oriented celebrations that take place annually on April 20 (4/20 in U.S. and Canadian date form).

    The only bad thing I found with this AIO(that I have in my case) is that AMD bracket can only be installed one way. So, you can't have the hoses on the bottom or top of the CPU. It can only be on the left or right. And also, no software to control the RGB with Temperatures. All Corsair AIO can be configured to change color according to temperature.

    • @mikesunboxing
      @mikesunboxing  6 місяців тому +1

      it will depend on your motherboard software for the ARGB setting, the MSI center / mystic light allows it, so does gigabyte

    BTW just noticed in the benchmarks this 3 huge fan monstrosity is just BARELY better than a 1 fan non liquid Noctua cooler.... not even the double version just single fin stack... Isn't that kind of a terrible result for an enormous AIO like this?

    • @mikesunboxing
      @mikesunboxing  8 місяців тому

      the thing is with modern processor design and the way they always try to hit the 95c mark unless tuned means that pretty much all coolers max temps are going to look similar.
      The real difference for me that i am finding is the "normal" use temps stay much lower with a bigger cooler like this and therefore you don't get the rest of the system fans going nuts when just browsing or watching a video.
      I think we need a new metric in cooler reviews really. But trying to test in a real world use case is really hard to do with all the different options and external factors.

    Hi, Mike. There are two things about AIOs that I don't like. First, most come with an aluminum radiator which doesn't transfer heat away from the CPU nearly as well as a copper radiator. Second, the black hoses most come with are ugly. I believe all AIOs should have the standard G1/4" threads so if desired, the owner could replace the ugly black hoses with standard fittings and clear PETG or Acrylic hardline tubing. That would allow the owner to buy a GPU water-block and add it to the system. I think if you tried something like an EKWB EK-Quantum Velocity 2 CPU ARGB Water Block and a good copper radiator you'd see a big difference in temps.

    • @spektrumB
      @spektrumB 11 місяців тому +2

      I have to disagree. On paper, copper is a better heat conductor than aluminum. In practice, a good 240, 280 or 360mm AIO isn't performing that much worse than a custom build watercooling system with copper radiator or the same size. Speak from experience.

    • @guitarprogrock
      @guitarprogrock 11 місяців тому

      @@spektrumB I am speaking from experience. I've been building custom loops for about twelve years so I know what I'm talking about. Copper's heat conductivity is far superior to that of aluminum. Copper radiators are also easier to repair.

    • @spektrumB
      @spektrumB 11 місяців тому

      @@guitarprogrock So do I speaking from experience. I have more spare 240, 280 and 360 radiators than I would like to admit.

    • @mikesunboxing
      @mikesunboxing  11 місяців тому +2

      there will be a few differences between an AIO and a custom loop, the parts are considerably more expensive and that should be the case, pay more get more.
      Also to take into consideration that with an AIO there is a lot less thermal mass in the form of fluid, this also makes a difference.
      I would expect a custom loop with the same amount of fluid and same size rad with no res to perform very closely to each other
