Hi Jonathan, a versatile pedal producing a myriad of tones. The tone dial seemed quite sensitive offering a stark difference between low and high. The overall tone seemed quite rounded with a whole lot of ‘grunt’. Great review. Cheers ✌️🎸💜
That was a wonderfully nuanced and skilled intro Jon. Perfection 😃👍👍👏 That pedal is a superb looking and sounding pedal. Sounds perfect for a Strat. Plenty of gain for me - very interesting as usual Jon thanks 😃🙏🙏👍👍❤️
I was wondering if you were going to demo this pedal and here it is, excellent! I do have the Wampler Tumnus that is another replica of the Klon Centaur which I use mostly in a similar way than you used in your song, the good thing of the Tumnus is that it is a mini pedal, much smaller than the original or the Centavo. I love the warm tones, it creates a lovely tone that makes my guitar sounding closer to the tones of jazz player Norman Brown, plus increasing the gain takes me to those tones used in Rebel, Rebel by David Bowie. ✌️🤩👍🎸
Very nice sound, after watching the video, the effect is probably a bit larger in size, which may not be harmful to everyone. The sound, solid design, technical solution of this particular type seem to me to be quite good. I think the price is definitely acceptable for more experienced guitarists. I personally have a cheaper copy of the Centaur, sufficient for me, but certainly not up to the sound quality of this type. My best regards, Pavel CZ.👍👍👍
Hi Jon. Is there a reason why you demo'd the pedal with your Strat as opposed to your Tele(Black Paisley?) I personally I have found that some pedals are best matched with specific guitars i.e. single coils/humbuckers/ low out put/high output etc., etc.. For example I still have a Love Pedal Amp 11 pedal which to my ears works very well with a Strat but does nothing for me when used with a Tele or a Les Paul. Did you run your Black Paisley through that Centavo with equally great results as you got with the Strat?
Hi Jon, greetings from Germany. I need your advice... I need a creamy overdrive pedal for our Sunday service. A noiseless footswitch is very important and it should be versatile. My set-up Fender Strat, G&L Asat special, PRS SE 245 - Line6 HX Stomp - PA My Favorite Candidates are: Warm Audio Warm drive Warm Audio Centavo Komet Koda and the Walrus Fundamental Drive Which would you go for?
It actually doesn't sound all that different from my old TS808 tube screamer, but I bet it costs a lot more. Maybe it's just me, but guitarists seem to split hairs when it comes to drive pedals😏

Love your tone, Jon. Wish you gave lessons
I do..
Hi Jon, amazing demo!
Do you happen to have the name of the backing track you used? JTC but so far I've been unable to find it. Much appreciated!
That was smoother than Barry White! Bass player here looking to possibly buy this to use with my rig…
