My washer is showing the same codes F7,E5 and wont stop sensing to wash then the lid stays locked until I unplug “reset” it, But when I put it into diagnostic mode every feature seems to run fine separately.. Do these models not have a "Shift Actuator" ? or is the Washer Clutch there version of it?? I have a 2017 Maytag Bravos XL, That is pretty much the model you're working on.. PLEASE help me...
Question totally unrelated to the washer. Can you bypass a thermositer sensor on a dryer? I got a dryer right now giving me a f22 flashing code which is for a thermositer sensor. But it reads good ohms at room temp. Dryer will run for a minute then shut off.

Does the washer themselves show the codes or is there a machine that you need to get the code?
This washer will display the code when there is a issue no special machine required
