      Hey Vincent! Thanks for the feedback its nice to hear and if you have any tips feel free. Its your videos that got me inspired to try this, took more work than i magined...amazing you do them so often! Have a great day ✌️

      @@RalphAouad try and do these stuff even your old gears. Post one gear at a time like your Gibson LP. Talk more about it and then demo. Also your amp, demo and tell story about it. And your pedals, demo them one by one and then as a pedalboard.
      Another tip is to do a scheduled post. Like put gaps on your posts even a day or two. That way your videos will get chance to have more views because it takes a while for people to see your post and if you post one or more per day, then the risk is that some video will not get as much views than others.

      Thats great advice, loved this!!! Very practical and fun. I have lots of nice stuff and stories for each, il consider making a playlist just for demoing them, thanks a lot for that 🤗

      @@RalphAouad Cool! Yeah looking forward to it. Exactly what I was thinking when I was starting out. Just gear that I've got and then I thought of the cheapest gear to review and demo are guitar strings. It did work. Hehehe! Keep it up!

    Perfect review, I've been trying to narrow down what strings to purchase for my LP. My current strings are too difficult to bend. Thanks!

    • @RalphAouad
      @RalphAouad  3 роки тому

      Thanks for the comment! That doesnt sound like fun... Try the slinkies or any low gauge strings 9s should be easier to bend. 😁🎸

      @@RalphAouad I was thinking 9's but I don't wanna risk anything since its an older guitar so i'm gonna try to stick with 10's. I have thinner/weaker hands and I heard this brand is more bendable so hopefully it works out!

      @@RalphAouad does the string last long or need to change within few months?

    • @RalphAouad
      @RalphAouad  3 роки тому

      Depends how long you play and how much your hands sweat...how picky you are about changing strings. Id say on average 3 months if playing daily an hour or more and youl notice signs of lower quality from them.... All depends how much your playing. They can last a year or more if you play less.

      @@RalphAouad oh yeah sorry i play about 1-2 hours 5 days a week i have a ghs boomers and only 2 months there is a discoloration on the unwounded strings

    • @RalphAouad
      @RalphAouad  3 роки тому

      For the amount you are playing that seems very normal for many string brands, its normal to change strings every 3 months imo with that amount of playing. If you have a lot of humidity in the air or dont wipe your strings after playing that can make them degrade faster...Elixir brand is famous for making strings that last a long time if you wanna try them

    I have stringed my lp style guitar with regular slinkies and the strings are a bit flappier than the stock ones which came with the guitar. Is it supposed to be that way? Great video btw

    • @RalphAouad
      @RalphAouad  3 роки тому

      Thanks for dropping by and watching! Ernie ball slinkies are known for being easy to bend so they will feel flappier than most other brands, so it's normal yes, assuming they are the same string gauge as your stock strings that came with the les paul
