Hey, I almost never comment on anything but I really like watching your videos because I feel like I identify with you more than the other ftm youtubers out there. I would say that you are my transition goals but I don't like to say that my goal is to be another person because I want to be my own person. But you get what I mean. I am married to a straight cis guy and I'm currently pregnant with our second kid and that has been really hard. I am also just coming out to everyone and getting mixed responses. This time is probably the hardest time of my life and I am only making it through each day because I have the hope of transitioning soon. You help give me that hope by posting your videos and living your life, so thank you. I feel hopeless a lot of days and my husband doesn't understand so it helps to hear how you two make your relationship work. I plan to start t after I have this baby and I really feel like that is when I will be the most free to bloom into a flower like you have. I like your hair and your style. I can imagine looking and dressing a lot like you someday.
I am a cis girl dating a wonderful trans man who I love with all my heart, I can relate quite a lot to jenilee, and I find comfort in knowing there are others out there like myself and being able to watch this and know there are similar struggles and learning more about acknowledging the dysphoric moments and how to go through them and the individual experiences. This helped quite a lot. You guys are amazing ❤️ like I cannot explain how much you guys have helped me.

LOVE the comments about validation. The beautiful thing is that it applies to everyone in ANY situation. The simple act of validation can open up doors to growth and healing that just don't happen else-wise.
I feel as though the advice you both gave about validating the moment of dysphoria can be used for any aspect of moments of pain in relationships with other people. It reminds me of my boyfriend's current struggles. I have been making the mistake of saying "it gets better" instead of validating his concerns and asking what he needs from me. Thank you for this fresh perspective!

Hey, Jenilee, I don't know if you're on Facebook or not but there are a couple of really good support groups for partners of transguys. People ask questions, discuss specific topics and generally give each other a place to talk with others who understand. Thank you for making this video. For me when my dysphoria kicks in. My wife grabs my head and plants it on/in her boobs, wraps her arm around me while brushing her fingers through my hair. For one thing, it's very distracting. I also call it my comfort place. But while she bring me down and leveling me out. She lays her head on top of mine and tells me "everything is going to be ok." This is what she does for me.
Credit Unions keep your money local! If you are a supporter of spending money at local retailers, using a credit union will really stab Corporate in the eye.
Same! I was told to do it either in my stomach or butt, and it's a lot harder to do a shot yourself in the butt so I do it in my stomach. I know that for testosterone cypionate, it needs to be injected subcutaneously (in fat) versus depo-testosterone needs to be injected intramuscularly (in the muscle). I'm on testosterone cypionate, and it looks like Aydian is too, so I'm not sure why he does it in the leg versus the stomach or butt.
No one makes another feel like shit. You control your own feelings. People are not perfect and sometimes people need to be less offended by everything.
