I'm so excited for this topic. I am only 24 but I still am so worried and wonder when I will get married. I wish it were normal again and easy for the younger generations to marry young again so we are saved from zina inshaAllah.
I think a good way to solve the issue of the singlehood is to do it the way our parents and grandparents did it....to set people up together to meet in a halal way (off course among mehram) and get married it was so simple back then. Now many men don't even take the time to seek a sister and so many sisters are single. This is something that can be coordinated by masjid family friends neighbors in Shaa Allah more people can get married.
I think we not clear enough on "money talks"...debts, income, savings, spending habits, budget, retirement money, planning a child ($$$)...get the nitty gritty. The more clear yall are before marriage...the easier the transition. Brothers can live real basic hole in the wall..sisters need some accommodations to make place homely. Dave Ramsey channel saves lives of couples with money problems.
