- One of the best benefits of sedans is great higher speed fuel economy. Fortunately Toyota gave us an all-new sedan with the Crown, and it's pretty efficient!

"I don't know who screwed up so badly to close the highway at 9pm, but I hope they're pretty hurt"
-Charlie, 2024
I test drove a ‘23 Crown a few weeks ago and really liked it. My only issue is that I routinely have a passenger who is 6’6” and he just wouldn’t have enough head and knee room in the Crown. I also test drove a CRV hybrid and he’d have the same issue with knee room in that. So I ended up taking home a new Kia Niro SX hybrid. Lots more front seat room than the Crown and CRV, it’s a hatchback (I love hatchbacks), great tech inside, and so far in suburban driving I’m averaging about 54mpg. I’m happy with the Niro and think it’s a great eco-hatchback, but if Toyota had allowed the front seats to move lower and further back in the Crown, I’d be driving one of those.
A crown to a Niro??? Are you sure you were looking to buy a crown?
@@occckid123 I'm all over the place in terms of what I like in vehicles. I really like the crown. But I also really like the Niro.
The crown is more than 2x the price…. From the largest Toyota sedan - to a subcompact Korean hatch ….
I think you can change the gauge style in a menu there and you can find the tachometer. I've seen it on the new Camry.
You should test both XSE and XLE Camrys on 19s vs 18s.
Yes. You can either have a tach or a power gauge.
For awd 72 mph and 2L engine thats amazing mpg just imagine at 60 mph probably closer to 45 mpg
I get close to 50mpg in the sienna at 55-60 mph
Charlie, No excuses,You should stop at a local Pep Boys to get an aftermarket tach. If you lack that level of initiative, you can probably plug in an on board diagnostic tool to do the job.😉 Getting back to the Crown, the efficiency is impressive but those humongous 21" rims are not doing it any mpg favours. I look forward to the day when a generous level of sidewall is considered a luxurious and premium feature.🤞🤞
