If you are capable of such grade of detail, in a 1/72 model, I can´t imagine what can you do in a 1/32 model!!! Amazing job. Your videos are hypnotics.
for me, at the very least, this music is allowing me to pay attention. other videos that blast death metal ruin my ability to focus on the video. thanks
Thank you so much for showing me which fine detail brush you use in this video. Since seeing it, I have ordered one from Tamiya, and it is great quality as is most every thing I try from Tamiya. Thank you so much for being gregarious to share with us what tools give the best results as well as painting products and finishing products. This is a big help my friend!
I love all the details and especially working on these aircraft it makes me so happy you getting a lot of the details correct even though certain parts nobody will see like the wiring
Also if you ever do an f-15e those jets are extremely dirty the top of the jet gets dusty with lots of sand and dust the landing gear gets a splash of brake dust along with the landing gear doors and the underside of the whole aircraft gets smudged up with oil and grease. Also the fuel connection for the conformal fuel tanks leak a little so it will leave like a shiny trail down the side of the jet and when the gun fires it will spray the front and behind of the gun with carbon. Oh and because the jet leaks so much it will usually stain the concrete where it sits black.
Awesome work again Martin. It's looking sensational. Did you apply the Tamiya wash in the bays straight over acrylic paint or did you gloss coat first? What are you using for referances to detail the bays? Again, you are an absolute joy to watch! Fantastic job on the belts as well.

You build those models very good but I want to ask u something; are those tools which you use to build the plane sold with the model kit? or they sold separately? And those stickers. Thanks
Hi, thanks for the inspiring videos! What is the instrument you are using at 3:13? I see you use it a lot. Is it like a pin vise with a needle? How does it hold the paint wet for so long? Thanks!
Absolutely nothing Revell, Revell has massive molding problems. Stick to academy or Tamiya. They may be more complicated but the instructions are so clear and the fit is so good that the complexity isn't a factor.
How much was this kit? I cannot find it in my local hobby shop. It looks like a very interesting kit. I would expect an Academy kit of this level to be upwards of $50.00.
I'm building the same kit but when I start use tamiya panel line I was trying to clean it with Mr. Color thinner the cotton start to stick to the paint I sealed with tamiya and Vallejo varnish
+PLASMO - plastic models yes but i saw m'y problem and it was by my mouvement when i apply the thinner and the pression i put to the model i think n'est Time Will be fine
Do you know how this f-35 mades. I suppose no. First aircraft with vertical landings was Russian and this f-35 was made with help of Russians, because this plane and russian plane yak-141 looks very simular
Still f-35 is very expensive toy. First project with vertical take off was made by Germans ww2. For me , best successful project V/STOL is British Harrier. Sorry Russian and American patriots :-D
noo,mas asi hold talent,ve tvejch videjich se clovek ledas cemu priuci,a alespon to do budoucna usetri a zprijemni prace pri stavbach a je to pak hned zas prijemnejsi si stavby uzit,a ne se u nekterych veci trapit.
Ambiguous aircraft, someone praises him very much, someone says that this is a failure of aviation thought, but the main thing I liked is your work and the beauty of the aircraft.
Hi Plasmo, I'm going to get the italeri version of the f35, but it does not state what blue to use for the seat, please could you tell me what you have used?
Yes I have. I have used tamiya xf24 for the main body. I made seatbelts out of blue-tac, using xf8 and x11 gloss silver for the buckles. I used xf2 and xf54 for the panel line things. Came out very well.

Nothing to do with the build or the builder but the kit itself. If you up-scaled it to 1 to 1 then the panels would stand that far proud of the body it would look ridiculous. Look at photos of the real thing and you will notice the lines but none standing proud. If they did whats the point of stealth.
I'd rather hear a narration of what you're doing instead of the music and the supplies you use. Just watching someone build a kit is kinda like watching paint dry. I have this kit and after looking it over I could see it only looks plain. There are so many great opportunities for detailing. You are using some, but I have no idea of what exactly you're doing. I think you have a lot to offer for new model builders and those like me who has a lot of experience and also have disabilities. Well, it's just a suggestion and I hope you consider it. Thomas
It is not tutorial just step by step build. I do not want to explain same things again and again, for this purpose I have great guide series. ua-cam.com/play/PL4CTPuZfjAPtEaCHrNWxTkgtVtBCBd8OZ.html
I don't know why I'd not thought of - I'm assuming that's something like epoxy putty - for seat belts before. Tape, yes (with varying results.) Putty, not so much. I'll have to remember that.

The level of detail you put into that cockpit is amazing
Would love to see Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II, aka Warthog !

GOD DAMN I freaking love the detail on that cockpit I cant do that
Great video, would love to see you make a airfix 1/48 english electric lightning.
Six of those flew over my house the other day at about 500 feet. Man what a sight.
God bless all here
I hope you can I've seen some great ones here and the Air Force museum in Dayton, Ohio is another great destination.
Your talent always amaze me!
As always, what can I say that fellow mortals havent already, thanks as always for sharing.
Really wish you would build more 1:48 or 1:32 models. Your detail work is insane.
absolutely superb
Amazing work once again, excellent!
Excellent video
I love the 1/72 scale!! Love ur vids so much! Rn I have a italerie and a Hasegawa F35 on the shelf, do u know how they compare to the academy models?
Awesome work again Martin. It's looking sensational. Did you apply the Tamiya wash in the bays straight over acrylic paint or did you gloss coat first? What are you using for referances to detail the bays?

Hi Martin,
nice work, well done!
I saw that you use some kind of plastc tube... what is this? from where do you get?
thanks and again bravo...

You build those models very good but I want to ask u something; are those tools which you use to build the plane sold with the model kit? or they sold separately? And those stickers. Thanks
Looks fantastic Martin been watching you for a wile now and your work is epic. What washes do you use?
-joe
For the cockpit, do you have to paint another layer of gloss before wash or you can just wash right ahead?
Nice to see some warhammer paint in use!
This kit is the exact same one by Orange Models that was built by ScaleModelAircraft. I guess it doesnt matter though
Plasma - please remake this. You’re new stuff is great and I can’t even make it through this one
kúpil som si tie tamiya stetce ale vobec nie su take extra spicate a precizne, blunt brush S, treba ich nejako upraviť aby vyzerali ako tie vaše ? :)
What are you using to paint those fine lines? Looks great
like to see part 2, nice work so far.
which brand of brushes are you using??

Bonkerz A/V look 2:30
Bonkerz A/V its a tamiya paintbrush
Please do assembly of the F5 60 years senta a púa of the Brazilian Air Force?
Would you please make the "B" version - thank you
what is a good plane to learn on? i want to learn these painting techniques before i try something like this.
Dan Bishop
The old Tamiya 1:72 warbirds are cheap and really easy to build. They're also pretty cheap which is why I buy them.
Absolutely nothing Revell, Revell has massive molding problems. Stick to academy or Tamiya. They may be more complicated but the instructions are so clear and the fit is so good that the complexity isn't a factor.

Ethan Ton
The Italeri one is great, it only costs around 15-24 USD
Ethan Ton about 20?usd
Ethan Ton I've seen this one for around 20 GBP, and the italeri for the same price.
I'm building the same kit but when I start use tamiya panel line I was trying to clean it with Mr. Color thinner the cotton start to stick to the paint I sealed with tamiya and Vallejo varnish
Also the tamiya wash is not cover smoothly like you I gave several clear coat
Mr. Color thinner :-D ou bad choice for wiping. I use x-20 enamel tamiya or mig thinner for washes.
PLASMO - plastic models thanks but also I found the paint is not selling well. What the best varnish to seal the paint
mr color super clear III. working perfectly.
Hi where did you get the green stuff to make the seat belts cheers
What was it you used for weathering in the wheel Bay? The black tamiya fluid.
What´s the brand of the brush seen at 2m34s?
can someone tell me what products is being used at 6:32 and 6:16?
The one at 6:16 should be tamyia extra thin cement
What tool did you use to paint on the very fine lines? it's the one with the pointed metal end
Faiz Rahman
It's a Tamiya paint brush
www.hobbyking.com/en_us/tamiya-standard-pointed-brush-item-87017.html
May I know what size of the drill bit you used to drill the hole for weapon pylon?
Its strange but i tried to do the same thing like you with the panel Line but when i Go to clean with thinner i erase everything
Did you use acrylic colour and covered it with clear varnish? If you used Tamiya x-20 thinner for wiping wash off, then everything should be fine.
+PLASMO - plastic models yes but i saw m'y problem and it was by my mouvement when i apply the thinner and the pression i put to the model i think n'est Time Will be fine

I have an Italeri/Tamiya F-35A. Are there any noticeable differences between the two?
Hi!
With what did you fix the toothpick to it (2:35)? Thanks!
+Róbert Ónodi I held seat to toothpick with Kores GUMFIX
+PLASMO - plastic models
Thanks for your answer :)

Sensacional !!!

The Yak-141 looks nothing like the F-35. But I believe that Yakolev did sell the design of the lift fan to Lockheed Martin.
what glue is good for model kit. revell or tamiya
+mr.jeffey inpen Both are good.
thank
Mr.Jeffey 2486: Bandai. Compared to others, the quality of most of their newer offerings is insane.
Shin F35 comes out to online of battle feeding 4 with an F35 steles fighter. It is the fighter which it is easy to operate. Please try production hard
I really wanna build this kit

Great vid , but I had to turn off the sound . sorry .
Hi Plasmo, I'm going to get the italeri version of the f35, but it does not state what blue to use for the seat, please could you tell me what you have used?
I used for seat Tamiya XF-8 flat blue.
Thanks very much.
are you already finished the italeri f35a ? what color do you used it at f35a italeri version?
Yes I have. I have used tamiya xf24 for the main body. I made seatbelts out of blue-tac, using xf8 and x11 gloss silver for the buckles. I used xf2 and xf54 for the panel line things. Came out very well.
PLASMO - plastic models how you do the wash? Can you tell me
WOOW
is academy a good brand?
+Asuna Yes it is. But only new kits.
+PLASMO - plastic models thanks
+Asuna and if you can get past the lack of paint colors you need it doesn't say on the box.
+Gahlok12 what no paint?
-^-
+Asuna yeah you have to guess what paints are needed I know and the paint guide is useless as well.
Do you use some special holder for brushes? I'm talking about that wooden 'thing' on the brush.
The "wooden think" is cheap Tamiya standard brush small.

Due to the properties of polystyrene and the limits of modern cutting technology, creating true 1:72 scale panel lines is impossible.
