To make this work you had to expose your hull a shit ton tho. What you mean? Rules most of the tanks out. Stp and strv would have taken pens - straight through the turret and by overmatching. Awesome battle still. I think you couldda pulled it off in chiefs too, but not really any other tank :/
none of these things matter when ur sitting hull down on top of the hill with a crossfire going, its no wonder the 279e in the bushes got the most damage, because the two 279e's on the hill had no gun depression to fight as much. so anything with a strong turret and more than 5 degrees of gun depression is already better than the 279e for this specific spot. ur rage boner for the 279e is copium

The old WoT theme brings me back, which reminds me now of the 8-bit game modes they had. Can’t find a mod that implements the 8-bit sounds - gun sounds, tanks getting spotted, base capture sound, engine sounds and battle music intro.
there are a few people on one discord making a whole ass wot classic mod, they have classic timer background music ingame ui and loading screen, i could link u the discord server if you want :)
Its 1 in 1000 games in which platoon used 279e and got incredibly lucky with the way enemies played and plus 279e in corner that arty didnt focus a bit more and just killed it. Only because it is ridiculous game, doesnt mean it should completely change this map

Extra context for this which is why they're so urgent: It took like seven days of queuing up this platoon JUST FOR THIS ONE MATCH. They were going for specifically this map on this side in triple 279 and only got Mountain Pass twice, this being the second time. I know because I was there, for half of those days.
