Put the weed whacker line after you cut it in boiling water for a min or two to take out the memory of a line so it has better spring. You can make your own cages out of 16 gauge wire, which is very easy with some rabbit cage clips. Rip off that triangle clip and throw it far away and just replace it with a Stainless Steel split ring with a heavy duty barrel swivel. You won't lose any more snares
