- We're on the road again to visit a Red, White, and Blue and a Goodwill in Connecticut. Red, White, and Blue thrift store has a lot of home decor at good prices and the music they play has people singing in the aisles. We spent hours looking for affordable vintage home decor and chatting with people about Italian Greyhounds since Coco came with us. I heard some gossip about Goodwill. Have you heard it?
Trends we'll see today: Grandmillennial, Bridgerton, Regencycore, Cottagecore, Horses, the holidays, and more! I'll show you everything I pulled and put in my cart, then what I took home with me.

My thrift store said they closed dressing rooms during Covid so they didn’t have to disinfect them and found it was easier not to have to clean them and pick up the mess their shoppers left there. I get that, but I definitely thrift less clothing since I can’t try it on. I think it hurts their business.

@@MegantheWild I don’t think it’s a thrift store but I think you would like the Monger’s Market in Bridgeport. It’s indoor and definitely worth the trip in the colder months.

I'm new to your channel. Do you like dishes etc? I saw rhwy you filmed that section but didn't stop and look st anything? I saw so many I would have checked out. The silver items we really nice they also had a lot of brass. I'm in CT and our stores have gotten very expensive lately.
I DO like dishes. I didn't film myself going through them because I needed two hands. 🙂 Feel free to let me know if there are any other thrifts I should check out in CT!
@MegantheWild I'm sure it's hard to film and look at everything! I love dishes, pitchers, teacups, and teapots, and all the rest. Vintage and Cottagecore are my favs and becoming harder to find for reasonable prices. what styles do you like? Danbury Restore is very good and also Salvation Army, but again, prices have increased. I love all things books as well. Have a nice day.

Dressing rooms went away with the Pandemic. It was an excuse for them to not offer it any longer. The ones I go to have torn them out and made it an employee rest area. I don't think theft has anything to do with it anymore, since they just walk out the doors anyway or the emergency doors.
I hoped they would reopen the dressing rooms, but it does not look like they will.
The 2 Goodwills in Rapid City, SD never do discounts. Ever!!
I really enjoy your videos, but the music in the background hurts my ears, especially when the trumpet or sax gets really high. Everything else is great (pacing, etc). ❤

@@MegantheWild Definitely check out Five Acres Flea Market in Warren County, NJ. They have a website. Only opened on the weekends. I believe from 7am-3pm Saturday and Sunday, although Saturday is the better day to go! I will comment again for PA spots by the weekend! Hope to see you at Five Acres.
