- Let’s thrift at four different thrift stores on Long Island = Angels of Long Island, American Thrift, Savers, and Island Thrift!
We drove to Long Island hoping to find affordable secondhand home goods, antique decor, and unique vintage treasures. This day of thrifting was full of ups and downs. I loved this new-to-me American Thrift, but a combination of forgetfulness and clumsiness left me a bit heartbroken with a small haul.
Keep an eye out for Anthropologie and West Elm style home goods, a slew of bunny rabbits, Regencycore lamps, cottage core home goods, and more. Plus tips for when to thrift items for the holidays. Oh, and HAUNTED DOLLS!!!!!

Hi! Just came across your channel! I'm a lover of thrifting & antiquing..i collect most anything primitive, antique, old vintage and Victorian! I have one of those exact same amber candle holders, and I also have the same one in olive green, and in milk glass. Those were way too expensive! I use google lens for everything, to find out the age & value of the piece. I have a pretty nice collection of silver serving ware, i love the really ornate or detailed pieces. I collect silverware also. When you walked in the American Thrift.. those large ornate frames were gorgeous! I do collect ornate frames & certain types of art. I can always switch the art or frame if i like one but not the other😉 Those 2 you had in the pull with the vases of flowers were gorgeous! Ohhh my.. the regency style lamps!! The ones that had the Victorian figurines on them.. stunning!! The first one was my favorite, i think lol! If get them all if i could😊 The ones with the tassled shades were so pretty! Old lamps is another of my passions, i would love to find some like those! I love to collect the figurines too! Its one of my favorite types of art to collect as well. I just think the ladies were so elegant, the men were handsomely dressed as well. And the children & babies were just adorable! I love everything about the regency era, and i have quite a haul of things grin that era. But I don't particularly decorate my home in one style of decor. Is beautiful those who do. But i love way too many things from all different eras. I just buy what i love and take it home!😉 Lol Yeah I don't do those dolls with🫣 i have one raggedy ann and 2 angels handmade from vintage linen & lace. You ended with A nice little haul. I enjoyed tagging along.. and if it'll make you feel better, I'm clumsy and forget things easily🫤 Lol but i did subscribe sand thanks fruit sharing!
